1. If we don't wake up soon, they'll have a Yad VaShem too!
tom ,   tel aviv   (04.14.13)
There, they will document the millions of Fakestinians murdered by Israel in the concentration camps that we've set up in Apartheid-era South Africa. Don't believe it? Just wait. Arabs know, that in this "Information Age" a BIG, FAT LIE is king!
2. Palestinians museum to tell their story
jon ,   uk   (04.14.13)
Palestinians believe their own lies which they fed world media they live in denial what were they before 1967 did they have a president prime minster it will be interesting to see what the museum will tell us

4. Inclusive museum
Keren IL-BR   (04.14.13)
It is positive that they are also including Jews living in Palestine before the Yshuv. It means that they recongnize our presence in this land before them. Also it is positive that they are devoting their energy to art and culture instead to violence and hate. This is indeed good.
5. #4 I agree
Mark ,   London, UK   (04.14.13)
Museum sounds like a good thing to me too. "Privately funded" - I wonder who that would be?
6. aint history a bitch?
Steve   (04.14.13)
The Palestinian museum will reflect an honest and unbiased depiction of the Palestinian's illustrious history in the region...as soon as they finish making it up.
7. Building a monument of lies
silkey ,   Silkeborg, Denmark   (04.14.13)
based on a fictitious narrative. On one hand, it's better than hoarding weapons, but on the other should it be based on a name hijacked from what previously was known as Trans-Jordan, Syrian, Canaan. The name Palestine was first mentioned in Hebrew in the 2nd century and is mentioned in the bible over 200 times. I wonder if it is mentioned in the Koran??? It is noteworthy to mention that Egypt was the only country in the area with a defined historical boarder. Why can't they just admit, that life in Israel has more individual freedoms than any of their brethren in other Arab countries and they ought to build a monument to that instead.
8. The government stooges
Holy Warior ,   UK   (04.14.13)

10. Well said number 4 everyone on this Talback
ben   (04.14.13)
Board should read From Beruit to Jeruselem by Thomas Friedman especialy pages 159 to 161 . Page 159 there there were no guns there no amunition but there was something more dangerous something Sharone wanted maps of pre 1948 deeds to Palastinian houses and more before Israel wiped it all of the face of the map
11. To 4
Mat ,   Uk   (04.14.13)
Don't build your hopes. Wait and see what they will come up with.
12. Jews of Arab Countries Museum /Where ?
MuseumNeededNow ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.14.13)
Why is there no museum of the plight of the Jews expelled from Arab countries showing the tens of thousands of refugee tent camps where Jews lived for up to 4 years?. Why no museum showing the Arab support of the Nazis before and during World War 2 "Palestinian" participation in the Holocaust /the Mufti and Hitler and the pogroms in Iraq the "Farhud"Why no museum showing the desecrated synagogues cemetaries , institudions and the homes of those Jews in Arab countries now occupied by Arabs WHY ?? the BIG QUESTION ?????
13. Common Threat Now
Zechariah   (04.14.13)
The greatest danger for Palestinians and Jews is the Threat of a WMD attack which could kill millions Jew and Arab and International Workers and destroy the land.the past is important but in the future ultra threats ought be preempted preferably diplomatically but Horrific Deterrance and Ultrasurvivalism requires cooperation the Jews and Palestinians are here to stay .Any Peace Process needs concentrate on external threats by a highly sinister ideology.
14. I thought the PA was broke
zionist forever   (04.14.13)
Abbas is constantly out with his begging bowl saying he the PA is broke, he wants more donations because they can't afford to pay wages of their employees but they can find $15 million to build a museum. It doesn't create lots of jobs, not even locals responsible for building it the thing, its not an economic investment because its never going to turn a profit so its not a business decision.
15. I cant wait to visit
Sam Sweiry ,   Eastbourne - UK   (04.14.13)
Yes Palestinians have a history - a sad history of displaced people who chose to stay in shanty towns and refugee camps instead of moving with time and hep each others to settle where they have have landed - Tell me why there is still Refugee Camps in the West Bank and Gaza? - Tell me why

Maurice ,   Montreal   (04.14.13)
200 years ago there was the "region" called Palestine under Ottoman rule where Arabs and Jews lived. There was NEVER a country called Palestine or a people called Palestinians! Read some history before you talk nonsense.
17. Will this "history"discuss expulsion of 1M Mizrahi Jews?
Eilon ,   IL   (04.14.13)
Probably Not!
18. It is funny how angry pro-Israelis get
James ,   Canada   (04.14.13)
It is amusing how when even the Palestinians build a museum it makes the pro-Israeli nutcases angry. Are you really so insecure? It is kind of sad...
19. to#15
Marcelo ,   Berlin / TLV   (04.14.13)
it is an easy one, they choose to be there to get international attention, money and the privilege of building hate to blow up buses and restaurants with as much babies they can. If there are more Jews than better. If you see Nablus (Shchem) you will find plenty of place around, but the "PA" does not allow them to build a proper place for living so they grow up in hate and pain...easily manipulated people, got it?
20. "Demographics of Palestine" show historical Jewish minority
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.14.13)
21. More Propaganda
Dan ,   Florida - Tel Aviv   (04.14.13)
Rather than create jobs, feed & clothe their people the so-called Palestinians spend the monetary aid they receive on terrorist attacks and building museums to commemorate these vile and evil acts. Israel, stop sending money to the PA.
22. yaz # 9
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.14.13)
You might want to recognize the fact that Arafat was an Egyptian and that "Palestine" as a nation was invented in 1967.
23. #18 well said
Rau   (04.15.13)
James, you're right. The museum is only on the drawing board and they're worrying sick. Looks like there's something they don't want the whole word to know.
24. # 20 - I would agree with you,
Anna ,   Montreal, Canada   (04.15.13)
if to count the population of whole Palestinian region which includes Gaza, Judea, Samaria, as well as partially Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Israelis keep their promises and respect international decisions even these decisions are often violated by their neighbors. There is no letter "P" in Arabic. So, I'm afraid the Arabs can't claim to be Palestinians but they can rightfully claim Arabia to themselves. The Jews will make sure that the history will never repeat, that n Israel the majority of the population will always be Jewish. I hope you'll accept the reality one day. At the end you yourself claim to live in USA. So what's the point to spread lies and disinformation about the Jews of Israel?
25. #23 and 18.....
Israeli ,   Haifa   (04.15.13)
You have both set up a straw man. Because, that's all your arguments are ever made of: straw.

tom ,   tel aviv   (04.15.13)
27. to #9 shabtai zvi was jewish during the ottoman
ghostq   (04.15.13)
300 years ago the Turks forced him to convert to Islam, he came from jewish city called Yavne, the other jews didn't like it so they outcast him, today he is buried in Bosnia, so you see jews have older history in the region even before the ottoman era.
28. to #18 because palis r trying to re-write
ghostq   (04.15.13)
history that never existed.
29. Wonderful thanks Israel
Zaina Shehab ,   Kuawait   (04.15.13)
About allow build this wonderful musuem thank you so much
30. #9 What IS a Palestinin ?
Henry H ,   Ann Arbor, MI   (04.16.13)
They are the same kind of people who already OWN 99.9% of the Middle East. Jews on the other hand, have separate religious, national identity and language with continuous presence in the area far before many of the so called "Palestinians" . The irony is that if Israel did not exist, NOT ONE Arab country would even remotely dream of creating a state for the people they just needed to use as a WEAPON against Israel. And Arabs, know all too well how to use their people as weapons.
