5. Here comes a new era in mysteriously disappearing funds...
Harry Wright ,   UK   (04.13.13)
without so much as a dirt track for the public to show for it. But mansions with smooth, paved roads to them will proliferate. Everything will fall into disrepair while Abbas holds out his beggar bowl for more aid as the population goes berserk.
6. Good move and thank you Dr. Fayyad!
Ramzi Jaber ,   Palestine   (04.13.13)
This move is absolutely critical towards Palestinian unity. Totally internal Palestinian issue. US butt out, we don't tell you who should be in your government. Dr. Fayyad, a huge thank you from all Palestinians for the great work you did to build our nation. Thank you also for putting the interest of the Palestinian nation ahead of your personal interests or position. I wish more did the same. Shoukran. Shoukran. Shoukran.
7. tax withholding
DOV ,   USA   (04.13.13)
Can someone clarify why the western media blames Israel for withholding taxes from the Palestinian authority causing the cost of living rise in the west bank thus forcing Fayyad to resign.
8. #2 Shallow and dumb
norbus ,   Jerusalem   (04.13.13)
Miss Kohn : are you by chance blond? I care : this is about Fayad, a moderate moderniser educated in USA , being pushed out by ABBAS , Yasser's partner in crime and terror to pave the way for a merger of PA with Hamas
9. #6. You don't get it. Palestine will never exist.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.14.13)
You can build Palestine in a sandbox but that's about all it will ever amount to. Live in your land of delusions because Palestine will never exist. It is forever fictional.

11. #8. Dumb to believe P.A. is better than Hamas.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.14.13)
I'm afraid the "shallow and dumb" crown goes to you. How could any rational person possibly believe the P.A. is better than Hamas? Both are genocidal terrorist groups with covenants which call for Israel's destruction. Of the two, the P.A. has MUCH more Israeli blood on its hands.
12. We need a million plus patriotic Israelis to...
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.14.13)
We need a million plus good patriotic Israelis to surround the Knesset and DEMAND an immediate, permanent halt to ALL Israeli support for Fictional Palestine and a permanent end to all malignant "peace talks" with the genocidal terrorist P.A.

19. #6. What "Palestinian unity" are you talking about?
Harry Wright ,   UK   (04.14.13)
A unity where the WB falls under the hammer of Hamas? You think that will lead anywhere? All you are are giving Fayyad is a "thank you" and a kick in the butt for all he as done for you people? Back to the stone age for you. Your so called "nation" will be plundered.
20. well
rm ,   Amsterdan, NL   (04.14.13)
there goes a decent competent man...spare the jokes. This is exactly the kind of Palestinian politician the PA desperately needed...and Israel too.
21. 8, norbus
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (04.14.13)
no, I am not blond. do you think that all blonds are dumb? do you think that Fayyad, assuming that he is a moderate peacemaker, had the least chance to succeed? he did not. he is surrounded by a tsunami of dumb people whose sole goal is jihad. I spent months trying to persuade khalid that hamas should negotiate with israel. that was a long time ago, but he and hamas said no. keep this in mind for future reference.
22. #9, #13, #19: 94% of the world is with Palestine
Ramzi Jaber ,   Palestine   (04.14.13)
Be careful of the ICC/ICJ my dear friends!
23. So many blind extremists here, I worry for my country
Rachel Rabin ,   TA, Israel   (04.14.13)
We can only be arrogant to our own detriment. We are a minority in the world and we must always seek justice to other minorities. That was the origins of Zionism. We must be united and work towards a 2SS. Demographics are against us. These are the real facts on the ground. We must achieve peace on the basis of a 2SS with our Palestinian neighbours before it's too late.
