3. What parents would want children under same cloud of gloom?
Philosopher ,   Israel   (06.01.13)
Look ahead. Be what they would have wanted.
4. Holocaust tattoos
Elijah Greenleaf ,   Hilo, USA   (06.01.13)
"...DO NOT MARK YOUR SKIN WITH TATOOS. I AM THE LORD." LEVITICUS 19:28, THE HOLY BIBLE. Tattoos are demonic, unclean defilements DUDs that indicate alcoholism, sadomasochism, and hard drug abuse.
5. Israelis
Moshe D. ,   NY - US   (06.01.13)
Stupid israelis think the tattoos made their relatives look important and want the same attention. Very stupid. Very israeli.
6. Its all good...remmeber if you deny your past you are doomed
AL   (06.01.13)
to relive it. The memory has to kept alive and if this does keep it alive so be it. I have to work up the courage to do it. Chances are I will have my late dads number on my arm before I am gone. Yes he was that important to me. As for the trolls who like to visit this website including David from New York..piss off.

Dear Al, For once, I agree with you! Once you have your tatoo, please dont go into the sun. (serious advice for you) Your memories must be passed down to your sons, who must pass them onto their kids. Making a family tree helps loads. Every Jew needs to visit Yad Vashem.

What a load of bollocks. Delusional post.
9. # 4 Nazi tattoos meant death
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (06.01.13)
why on G-ds green earth would any Jew want to mark his/her body with a Nazi like horror on their forearm? Not what G-d wanted.
10. Misguided young Israeli's
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (06.01.13)
who are ignorant of the instructions of life.
11. In your face, goyim
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (06.01.13)
When I read the headline I was at first, horrified; but reading the story, watching the video, I say "Bravo" to the inheritors of the Holocaust: by tattooing yourselves you TRIVIALIZE what the Nazis did to your forbears; you say, "In your face, goyim, we OWN our own gevurah - our own strength."
12. Disgusting - Do Good deeds in their memory
Phil ,   Queens, New York   (06.02.13)
As a child of a survivor, who sadly passed recently, I am sick to the stomach reading how some want to "honor" their loved ones. That tattoo was not a badge of honor, but a personal remembrance of a sick perverted enemy who wanted to track us and destroy us like cattle. If you need a tattoo to remember your deceased relative who was a survivor then how shallow can you be. Do good deeds. Help the living survivors. Yes to the survivor that tattoo was a reminder of a world turned upside down, and not some family tradition to be passed along. Stop emulating shallow ideas of being "cool". Remember that survivor by giving the money the tattoo would cost to needy survivors. Do good deeds, and make sure kaddish is said on her yarzheit.
13. 100 Years From Now There Will Still Be Tattoos
(06.02.13)
On Jews Claiming To Be Shoah Victims. Are Jews planning on milking that cash cow until the end of time? Enough crying and whining already!
14. And Shoa victims thought the goal was to stamp out Nazism
Sage of the Age ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
when, in fact, the goal is to preserve it, to lengthen the arm of the Nazis into the psyches of our children and grandchildren forever. Don't ever wonder again whether Jews are neurotic and paranoid! Choose this day whom you will serve, whether you will serve the Shoa god of European Medievalism superstitions or Hashem. As for me and my house, we will serve Hashem. (modern paraphrase of Joshua 24.15)
15. The tatoo is all that "Jewish" means to them.
Thinking Jew ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
Without that, they have nothing. It's a bankrupt, pitiful, sad and tragic mirage of "Jewishness."
16. 12 Phil Exactly !
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (06.02.13)
17. No indelible tatoos please
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (06.02.13)
Leviticus 19.28 is the Torah prohibition on tatoos that are indelible. It might be better if people wore bracelets with the concentration camp numbers of forebears. We honour those who came before us by performing mitzvot in their memory and indelible tatoos are definitely not a mitzvah.
18. Holocaust survivor organization
Martina Peiper   (06.02.13)
I am looking for a contact number for Tamar(a) from a Holocaust Survivor organization in Israel whom I spoke to on the day of the last elections when they had a notice in Ynet looking for volunteers to drive people to the polling stations. She was interested in my ability to read old German handwriting, letters, documents but never called me back. Does anybody know the name of this organization? I can find nothing...
19. We are Obligated to Eternity
Zechariah   (06.03.13)
The Holocaust Produced Hell and is still hard to comprehend .For me son of survivors its to never forget and yet be in awe of righteous Gentiles and the many Heroes in the Partisans and Ghetto and Death Centre revolts like Rosa Robota and the Bielski Brothers plus the Non Violent Resistance and Courage of a People without Defensive Weapons.
