The foundations of the walls of the first Temple period are NOT the same as those under the Temple mount. Absalom's Tomb is not Absalom's tomb. It also was not building by those of Petra, but by the indigenous Jews. There are catacombs in what you call the WB that are of the Sanhedrin, as most Jews lived there after the Romans destroyed the Temple and renamed the area Philistina (now said Palestine) after the long-gone Philistines, to eradicate the name of the Jews (not the arabs, as there weren't any).
