Haredim =social issue. Iran, Gaza,hizbullah, third intifada, american military support, etc =real security issues worth focusing on.

Non-Jewish Israeli-Arabs are serving but in small number. There are no major out-reach programs that I am aware of. Lapin/Etid included non-Jewish Israeli-Arabs in his pre-election talks about education and "balancing the burder" but appears to have shelved that idea in order to reach an agreement on Haridi with BiBi and Bennet/ Obviously, as Israelis, they should be subject to the draft too although the idea of arming and training Israeli-Arabs scares the hell out of a lot of Jews.. . .
