1. We, the people of Israel, while commemorating our dead, and
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.16.13)
celebrating the 65th birthday of the re-institution of our sovereignty in our homeland of Eretz Israel, also stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the people of Boston at this very difficult hour as sisters and brothers stand alongside their kins. Life, brothers and sisters of the US in general and Boston in particular, is stronger than death and destruction that some evil people are driven to bring upon us. Stand tall and strong and we shall overcome this one too. Jehudah Ben-Israel Qatzrin, Israel
2. #1, America pays in blood and treasure so Israel can exist

Stop barking.
4. #1 Agreed and nicely put.
Get Real ,   UK   (04.16.13)
Whilst Israel celebrates and mourns it is good that such words of sympathy and support be extended from Israel to the US at this time. Neither Israel nor the US can submit to terror from whatever source.
5. #2, You do not speak for Americans
MnEd ,   USA   (04.16.13)
To all Israeli’s. Please be assured that Benassi does not speak for the overwhelming majority of Americans. We know who are friends are and who was giving out treats and celebrating on 9/11. The toxic inanities he/she/it spews comes from that cesspool of hate you have to deal with on a daily basis.
6. Israel has more right to exist in their land than the US
Harry Wright ,   UK   (04.16.13)
Israel's right to exist is historic. The indigenous American Indians paid in blood and treasure so a "new" US could be created...so you could live in it. They were massacred, displaced, herded like cattle into reservations (you know, like apartheid) and they lost their treasure - their land and their freedom to live freely in it. So you are only talking bulls**t. Go, shove it up your a**.
7. #2 - as a resident of Boston and Israel....
William ,   Israel   (04.16.13)
and an American, I can absolutely say - you make ME sick. This attack was not an attack on the US for Israel. It was an attack on American ideals, but ideologues who become so married to their myopic perspective that it results in crap like this attack. People like YOU, actually. America pays in blood for being a democracy, and specifically in Boston where coexistence and brotherly love - including people from all around the world in this tiny walkable city - trump politics. While Muslims rush to distance themselves from this attack, you rush in to not only tie them to the attack, but justify it. In other words, you may not have taken part in this attack, but you no less resemble the evil that made this attack possible. Scum!
8. #5 - thank you, MnEd....
William ,   Israel   (04.16.13)
Both Israel and America KNOW better than to take Benassi seriously. We share a common bond, by being open democracies and targets of those with evil intent. Both Israel and Boston are full of strong spirit and resilient people, and will move past this.
9. How long until people like Benassi....
William ,   Israel   (04.16.13)
claim this attack was a false flag operation by Israel because Israelis were celebrating and dancing in the streets when this attack happened?
10. Boston Bomb
Elana ,   Israel   (04.16.13)
The bomb blasts at Boston marathon are terrible and tragic. According to reports the blasts were deliberately timed to "hit" from two positions, causing as much damage as possible. Will the American population and the sane world wake up to realize that everyone is the target of extremists? Will America now wake up to understand exactly that this is the style of insanity that Israel is fighting.... our prayers to the families and the wounded.
11. I don't think this was an act ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.16.13)
... of foreign terrorists. They'd have immediately claimed responsibility. No shortage of nutcases in the United States, and the timing may have had more to do with the fact that April 15th is the last day to file income tax returns and make estimated tax payments for the quarter than with the Boston Marathon. It's also quite possible that the bombing was the work of some of James ("Whitey") Bulger's fans in Boston's heavily Irish "Southie" neighborhood -- and he has plenty of those. We'll just have to wait and see.
12. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.16.13)
Why don't you douse yourself with gasoline and set yourself alight by way of protest?
13. to the 'Benassi's of the world'
rob ,   Orangevale USA   (04.16.13)
Nobody cares what you have to say Benassi, as you are the typical scum that revels in the insult of Israel. The truth is that Israel has the courage to stand up to terrorists just as we here in the US do. We will find the low life terrorists responsible for this murderous attack and believe me, we will trumpet their punishment to the world. If it turns out to be a domestic attack the perps will be found guilty and executed post haste, ala McVeigh. If it in fact turns out to be the deeds of a Muslim country, well, you know how we'll deal with that. Watch and see the resilience once again of the American people. We are calm and deliberate. We know how to deal with terrorists, as does Israel, with the exception of prisoner swaps. That's not gonna happen. Nobody has the ca-hones to admit they did this, but that will get handled by the powers that be. Every time Benassi opens hid putrid mouth, bile pours from it. Just walk around him and be glad he wont be any trouble, unless you are a woman or a puppy. Shalom Israel Rob
14. #2 America pays
elana ,   Israel   (04.16.13)
America pays for being naïve enough to think that everyone wants democracy and freedom. America pays for allowing free speech, free worship of every faith. America, the land of the free, has become a land of imported hatred, America’s hands were outstretched in friendship to “the poor and dispossessed” and now America pays……

I think in respect of the last few days celebrations and remembrance in Israel the writer meant to post.... 'Israel pays in blood and treasure so Israel can continue to exist'.
16. #2, America pays in blood and treasure...
Walt ,   New Mexico, USA   (04.16.13)
so junk like you can exist. To think that my tax money goes to support your freedom of speech sends shivers down my spine. America doesn't pay for Israel's existence any more than it pays for Canada's existence. I spent enough time with the American military to know that the blood of our young men is only spilled to defend some American's interests, not those of any other country.

19. Reaction to#9
Joe Mevorah ,   Lincoln, U.S.A.   (04.16.13)
I'm afraid that you are correct. Jews have been blamed for everything under the sun. Why not this? The Benassi's of this planet must be salivating at such an exciting incident to blame Jews. It must give them wet dreams!!!
20. I ONCE STEPPED IN A BENASSI

22. 'It's a miracle', is a moronic sentence
Jerusalem Jew ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.17.13)
Not even ONE person should have died. To use the phrase "it is a miracle..'", is simply moronic.
