The asylum seekers from Darfur, escaping from Islamist terrorists, are celebrating reaching Israel -- in spite of Israel's own problems, while some Israeli Arab MK's see Israel as a tragedy. Strange world!

Everybody enjoys a party why not them? We must not get to emotional about their claims and remember their only interest in Israel is settling down and starting a new life here rather than going home.

But now after hearing about rapes in Tel Aviv and especially in South Tel Aviv from the ingrateful and ruthless amongst Africans that infiltrated, I have very little sympathyor support for Darfur's refugees in Israel. I'd also like to know that since South Sudan now has its own country, why are you even here in Israel? I know there are some good Darfuris and I know that Eritreans and other North Sudanese are also responsible for the rapes, but that doesn't change my position.

Why insulting them? If this people have a "collective protection"-permit they can go were they want to go in Israel. Or, is it simple because they are black? I can understand that people are afraid because there are troubles in some urban areas with asylum seekers, but are they all thieves, rapists,…? I think it's a lot time pure racism, activated by the abuse of alcohol, drugs,… or, maybe, the Neanderthalim are still among us!

It's the party they are after. I find it very strange that although most of them are Muslim they want to live in a "Jewish" country. What's wrong with the other 27 Muslim states??

You comments are unfair. These people suffered enough and if out of 65000 you might have a few with criminal instincts, how can you justify your criticism for the whole community. Plus it is entirely possible that this behavior is coming from the illegals and not the refugees. Regardless I think they should be treated properly and not automatically harassed and insulted or worse, our own history has taught us otherwise.

Israel for Israelis! Africa for Africans!!! Deport all these infiltrators already.

Honey, according to international law, if they crossed more than one border, they are not refugees. They are the problem of the United Nations, which has several very well-funded agencies to deal with these people and their issues. It's time to send them on their way. At least to a United Nations relief camp for displaced persons. They are NOT Israel's problem. May as well put the United Nations to work. Give them a chance to earn their grossly inflated budget. Israel is not a trash barrel.
