I seldom indulge in Haredi bashing (too many FFB Haredi close family). I also think the whole haredi draft issue is bogus populist sinat chinam. That being said, blindfolding a child for 10 hours crosses every line of human decency and is cause for calling in protective services. Religion is never an excuse to torture your children just as denying them access to a core curriculum condemns them to permanent ignorance and poverty.
