Sadly most of the comments here are made on an emotional level and not on a thoughtful one. As #47 Ethan Schwartz wrote, this is not acceptable behaviour. The soldier approached the group of Arab shepherds; they did not provoke...except for the fact of their existence. We will never have peace if we cannot accept their right to exist along side of us.

could anyone explain,without prejudice against the Arab population,what this argument was about.As I see it on the video,there is an unarmed shepherd Arab guy with sheep minding his business being harrassed by a young soldier.There are peacewful peace activists trying to stop the soldier shouting at the shepherd.Although I recognbize that our young soldiers are torn in two directions ,this one could not handle it and lost his temper...OR maybe he is blatantly ant Arab or pro settlers,or is letting his personal prejudices impede his job.It is probably a good thing that I dont know much Of what happens across the line,because if I did,my stress levels,blood pressure and worry would increase even more.If I could speak Ivrit and Arabic and was prepared to have a tear gas canister fired into my face,maybe I too would be a "peaceful" demonstrator?
