So much for the BDS campaign to boycott Sabra. Another one of their "successes"

Definitely not taste or quality of hummus you can buy in Israel. Not a real Sabra.

It is pleasing to know that we Americans have a good and active sense of hummus!
7. Sabra's "Pine Nuts" flavor is my favorite.

Yes, some "BDS" groups have managed to ban Sabra hummus in a few "progressive" coops, but their overall impact has been miniscule. The grocery store nearby carries Sabra, along with "Cedars" brand (which I suspect has Lebanese origins) and "Tribe", but Sabra's hummus with Pine Nuts is my favorite.
8. Love it!
Amichai ,   Huntsville, US   (05.03.13)
I live in the Southern US and my whole family eats Sabra hummus. The Roasted Red Pepper and the Spinach & Artichoke are our favorites. I even got my synagogue turned on the spinach & artichoke when I do the Oneg. I serve it to my gentile friends and they love it too! Forget the BDS movement!
9. "Israeli Hummus" ?
Bluez ,   Jordan   (05.04.13)
Israel, a nation of immigrants, have a national dish, of course
10. Hummus
Debbie ,   Israel   (05.03.13)
Hummus may be low in fat, but is very high in calories. I think a teaspoon or tablespoon is almost 100 calories. Plus the pita needed to go with it. Definitely not for weight-watchers.
11. guess Ynet editors never had a shmeer
Bluegrass Picker ,   Afula   (05.04.13)
hummus is a respectable, but only a fractional, part of the USA refrigerated flavor spreads market. PLUS you cannot find it in Asia. Guess these guyss don't go shopping in khutz-l'aretz supermarkets very often. PS to Arabic-speaking friends: it was NOT you guys who taught the americans to like the stuff. It was us.
12. Time for lunch
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (05.04.13)
Try the Sabra "Extremely Spicy Hummus". It's really great. Can buy it in most grocery stores in Chicago. Please Israel, continue to send your products over here. I like what you offer and I want to support the Israeli economy. Todah Rabah.
13. #9 from Jordan

No, it is just that Israelis have a talent for taking anything and making it better, much better. This is why their hummus and not yours is taking the US by storm. Forget the petty envy and get Israeli help to improve your act. Then one day Jordan could have a flourishing economy. Though I suspect that you may prefer to sit in a corner and grumble.
