1. First strike
Dennis ,   Nj USA   (05.03.13)
Of course, the USA can decimate their missiles, a la six day war, in a pre-emptive strike, and should seriously consider doing so, to protect not only the US, but the rest of the world, also. Their people would be better off, believe me...
2. Dennis @ #1: A message from the president
Israeli 2   (05.03.13)
Well, you know, Dennis, we will be considering that option if and when it happens. We are not the aggressors even if they decimate our west coast. But make no mistake, we have all options on the table...besides, after consulting with our allies our decision will be unequivocal and that is: "We shall definitely think what to do. Lay assured the people of the western United States will have our backs. We will definitely send relief funds and help to all affected area just as I did with everything else. Be calm, Dennis. Your vote and support was great.

4. correction to the headline.

NK possibly possesses technology that would enable them to reach the west coast of the US, however, if attempted it will be destroyed before it enters our air space and NK will be destroyed shortly thereafter.
5. North Korea can reach parts of the USA
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (05.05.13)
I wonder if Obama will continue to stay passive towards this nuclear ballistic threat against his country as he did with the nuclear developments in Iran. As far as I understood the missiles can already reach Hawaii and parts of the West Coast of the States. Maybe he let do Israel his thing about the Iranian threat, while he reacts to North Korea's one. Was the humiliating apology from Israel to Turkey the USA condition to give us free play about the Iranian nuclear Issue? But, can we really trust Obama? I don't!
