Fine, so this is supposed to be a "realist". The problem is that there is no leadership because the "Palestinians" are not one people but several. No one leader is accepted by all. When we talk of peace with the Palestinians, the realists know that even if one sector came to an agreement, there would be several others who won't. West Bankers have nothing in common with Gazans who have nothing in common with those on the Syrian borders. That's what makes the whole situation so eternally problematic and it certainly doesn't offer a solution to the problems of the common folk from all sides.
