1. Danish people, darlings as they are have no clue about what's
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.04.13)
going on in front of their own noses. Recently they have chosen a depressingly embarrassing government, so please forgive them, "for they don't know what they're doing".... Villy S.(FM) is a certified moron, (if anyone ever deserved that description, trust me on that). They are probably scared shitless of "their" Muslims, that are wielding more and more influence over daily life in the Land of H.C.Andersen &fairy tales.
2. danish upgrade
finn larsen ,   esbjerg, denmark   (05.04.13)

3. Europe is becoming increasingly irrelevant
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (05.04.13)
israel is enlarging her relations with china, a huge power both economically and militarily. and as china's ambassador to Israel has rightly pointed out, china has no jew hatred. to the contrary, the chinese admire israel for her innovations and self reliance. trade with china has increased exponentially in the last years.
4. And Fayyad said PA is about to collapse!
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad   (05.04.13)
5. Independance means self reliance
trump   (05.04.13)
Candidly, they were the darling beggars of the dear' international community ' without any durable historical roots to our land Their fate lies on the eastern bank of the Jordan River from where their nomadic tribes sporadically crossed westwards and they know it .
6. The deep commitment of our two "countries"
tiki ,   belgium   (05.04.13)
Hear the historic words of Abbas, spoken by the not elected president of the yet to be established country "Palestine" to the Democratic elected PM from the land of the Vikings. One swallow doesn't make summer and an upgrade doesn't make a country. This 'Palestine' theater of the absurd is getting hilarious proportions. Comedy central could take some clue's out of it.
7. Im shame to be a dane
Rie Olsen Bali ,   Nykøbing falster   (05.04.13)
Palestina is a land of terror and shall never have a chance.
8. Bring it on.
nibor ,   israel   (05.04.13)
Bring out those lawsuits on all the acts of terror. They are a bona fide country; they can be sued! and sue the Scandinavian countries for collusion!
9. Finland and Denmark have now embassies of a virtual state
Rotem ,   Israel   (05.04.13)
I have nothing to say about it except one word - MORONS!!!
10. Wait until these no brained nordic types
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (05.04.13)
experience the same terror that Israeli's and now American's have felt. Unbelievably stupid but we know that already. Stupid and anti semitic.
11. Eurabia - bearing (rotten) fruit
Jake B. ,   Cleveland, OH   (05.04.13)
One has to feel sorry for European Christians who have slowly seen their culture and values transform to it's current state. With current trends in demographics, Europe will be completely overtaken by Islam within 30-50 years. Ironic, that in trying to reverse the policies that brought about the annihilation of most of European's Jews, Christian Europe committed suicide.
12. Learning to be dhimmis. Shame on them!
David ,   Hartford USA   (05.04.13)
As 90% of all rapes and gang rapes of their women are committed by Muslims, these countries hope to make it stop by sucking up to the Muslim horde. It won't work. The Muslims believe the Koran, every word of it, is still operational and valid. The Muslims don't assimilate. They prefer to live in tribal enclaves where all non-Muslims are treated like filth. Pandering to them by upgrading the Pali mission is a huge mistake. It will come back to bite them in their multi-cultural asses.
13. #8 I wonder if they can also be sued?
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (05.04.13)
Wouldn't that be sweet, to have the same anti semitic nordic types stand in court with the pals and be charged for being complicit in all pals terror acts? That, I'd pay to see.
14. #7 - don't be ashamed. Stop Denmark from becoming Islamic!
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad   (05.04.13)
15. Dearest Denmark:
ASTRONAUT ,   SC, USA   (05.04.13)
Hitler should have finished you off, along with Finland, Norway, Sweden. You self-righteous liberals never learn - when Hitler had you by the throat you wept. Time will tell, oh merciful ones, when Euro-muslim populations proliferate and usurp possession of your white-blonde territories in the name of @LL@H. Fools.
16. Recognizing Palestine
Harold ,   USA   (05.04.13)
This is just the begining. Soon France, Britain, Germany and other European contries will recognize Palestine. Palestine cannot stay occupied.
17. I am friggin' mad.
Eveliina ,   Luvia, Finland   (05.04.13)
And Tuomioja is a moron. Has always been. Frustrating not to be able to do anything, when our government decides to do things like this.
18. I am ashamed to be a norwegian..
Beary White ,   Norway   (05.04.13)
Looks like the leaders in the western countries have totally lost their heads.!! But we also have to say we have never had that weak leaders as for now., and most of them are leftis, just waiting to get screwed by islam.
19. Foreign Offices are Always Left
steve ,   Dallas USA   (05.04.13)
Foreign Offices in every western country attract left wing types who underneath it all, hate their own civilization and love the third world and live in a dreamland. They are no longer acquainted with reality. Denmark was savaged by the Muslim world for a few cartoons - including by "Palestine" but the foreign office nevertheless sees fit to do this.
20. #18
Harold ,   USA   (05.04.13)
Make Aliyah if you dislike Norway one of the greatest country.
21. #17
Harold ,   USA   (05.04.13)
If you dislike what your country did, make Aliyah.
22. Palestine IS a state, albeit occupied
Barry ,   Montreal   (05.04.13)
Israeli doubles standards, especially Netanyahu. He has said numerous times Israel will not negotiate its existence. And he's right. But why should this not apply to Palestine as well? Instead, he switches gears and claims a Palestinian state must be negotiated at the table - not by UN resolutions. Someone should tell him that Palestine is real, the Palestinians are real, and THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE TO NEGOTIATE THEIR EXISTENCE!!
23. #22, "Palestine" is not a state de-jure.
Jake   (05.04.13)
And not even de-facto. Recognition by the General Assembly does not confer on this "state" an ounce of legality. Neither does a ruling from the ICJ. The PA signed accords during the Oslo process which spawned it into being. Statehood can only be conferred on a palestinian entity as an OUTCOME of BILATERIAL accords. TIll that time, the unilateral declarations of this entity are legally null and void.
24. European cowardize
Pauldeparis ,   France   (05.04.13)
The end of Europe. Welcome to Eurabia. It's so easy to howl with the pack. They are becoming dhimmis...
25. To Harold #16, the Arabs missed the boat.
Jake   (05.04.13)
In 1939, the Arabs refused an Arab Palestine even when it was handed to them on a single platter. The British 1939 White Paper was a repudiation of the Balfour Declaration, in favor of the Arabs. It curtailed Jewish immigration to 75,000 over 5 years, after which time any Jewish immigration would be subject to Arab consent. (i.e. it would be terminated). It also severely restricted Jewish land purchases. It also committed to a unitary independent Palestine, with an Arab majority. But the executive body of the Arabs of Palestine, the Arab Higher Committee, refused to cooperate with the British Mandate even after this White Paper. Why? Because they rightly believed that the British Mandate would soon come to an end and that there would be a war, but they wrongly believed that this war would result in the Arabs pushing the Jews into the sea and end with a Judenrein Arab Palestine. The Arabs then rejected not only the UN Partition Plan of 1947, but also the the pro-Arab proposals of the UN mediator in 1948. The first proposal would have ceded all of Palestine to Jordan, with only a Jewish autonomous enclave in an enlarged Arab state. The second proposal, which came on the heels of major Israeli gains in the 1948 war, would have limited Jewish sovereignty to the upper coastal strip plus the Galilee. The Arabs again rejected both proposals. It is now Israel which controls the land, as a result of the failed Arab war of annihilation against the Jewish State. From now on, Israel's consent is required if there is ever to be an Arab State.
26. #20, Make Aliyah? Why do you assume they are Jewish?
Jake   (05.04.13)
Believe it or not, there are non-Jewish supporters of Israel.
27. To#22 Yes, Palestine is occupied by the Arabs...
EST ,   Miami USA   (05.05.13)
The Jews are the indigenous people of the area conquered by the Romans who changed the name to Palestine thus making the indigenous Jews of the region Palestinians...The Arabs came during the Ottoman Empire from Arab lands... and now have stolen the name of the original Palestinians just so they can steal their land too. Yes, Palestine is occupied by the Arabs. Free Palestine, return the Arabs to Arabia!!!
28. What is "palestine" ?
Ralph Haglund ,   Sweden   (05.05.13)
Definitely not a state according to all standard definitions, it definitely had not tried to get its own economy, not wants to be "viable". They believe they can live on bakshish from the West the coming century, and so far at least EU has not disappointed them. Remember when UN acknowledged Israel? It had been a viable Jewish state for almost a century, and it was an EXISTING state.
29. To #23 and#27 THIS is why there will not be peace
(05.07.13)
It's this kind of attitude where people are still taking the preposterous position that nations and peoples don't "exist" is why there will not be peace. Hamas does it, so does Iran's president, as do posters 23 and 27.
