So much for Iran's vaunted "Revolutionary Guard." Looks like Israel just kicked Iran in the ass. Gotta love it, folks! I hope the Iranians learned a valuable lesson. It is one worth learning: if we don't want you to become a nuclear power, you won't become one. Take this lesson, and slink off to your stinking middens with your tails between your legs, where they belong.
3. Iran's terror regime hopefully got the message
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (05.06.13)
any country whose regime threatens the existence of the jewish state of israel will learn that israel will defend herself by all means necessary. the terror regime of iran has been threatening to destroy Israel since the so-called islamic revolution of 1979. rafsanjani openly stated that israel is a one nuclear bomb state. ahmadinejad stated that south lebanon is iran's southern border with israel. israel has just sent the shia terror entity a clear message: stop arming your terror proxies, stop stationing your terror thugs on israel's borders, and stop developing your nuclear weapons.
4. an excellent, precise operation
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (05.06.13)
it is obvious that israel's intelligence is world class. it is also obvious that israel can penetrate the air defences of all her enemies. the targets hit were the highest value military targets of the assad regime, and in particular the regime's chemical weapons center, its long range Iranian missiles depots, and the revolutionary guard corps bases.
5. The Syrian state TERRORISTS got a little
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (05.06.13)
payback, for what they perpetrated over a VERY long period of time... Hopefully, they will get a lot more in the next future !
6. Lets not cuck each others socks just yet...
G:) ,   Tel Aviv   (05.06.13)
Although i agree that so far so good. These attacks will have some sort of repercussion. Syria is described as "the world's weopon storehouse". For us Israelis that live within easy striking distance from Syria, this is daunting. Let us not underestimate them.
7. And no condemnation against Israel by the
A ,   Belgium   (05.06.13)
United Nothings? No requests from Oblabla for Israel to "use restraint"? Abbas and his whining and groveling for handouts are ignored? Strange days indeed!
8. The US, Canada and Europe drew a RED LINE regarding the use
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (05.06.13)
of chemical weapons in Syria, which is prohibited by international law. The RED LINE was crossed by Syria, as evidenced by the civilians dead and injured, but few posted to condemn the loss of civilians Israel, the US, Canada and Europe's ally in the region, acted. This, the destruction of chemical and strategic weapons by the Jews is what causes so many people to post here. What should a Jew like me think of this hysteria...??
9. I wonder how many "dead" became alive after the video!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (05.06.13)
Remember Reuters and the BBC in the Lebanon War II? The report comes from the New York Times - the home of the Israel Hating Jews of America! I thought that the "alleged" Israeli attack killed chickens. If so, wy were the Republican Guard guarding a chicken coop? Sounds a bit foul to me!
10. That really, really made my day !!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (05.06.13)
The Syrian state TERRORISTS got what they deserved !
11. Animal Protectionists?
Mike ,   Ozzie   (05.06.13)
The video looks lilke Israel killed some chickens not destined for any grandma's soup. Why aren't the world's animal protection societies declaring Israel an in-humane state? Surely a UN resolution is required condemning Israel for such animal cruelty? Oh, and by the way, in North Korea...............
12. Well, this was meant as a lesson
Mira ,   Vienna   (05.06.13)
to both Iran and Assad and maybe to the Islamist rebels as well. I hope they will understand it. Any weapon transfer which could be dangerous for Israel will be handled the same way no matter if Syria considers this as a declaration of war or not. Actually we never have been in a status of peace with Syria anyway. כול הכבוד צה"ל
13. #1, #4 are you sure?
Gabor ,   Budapest, Hungary   (05.06.13)
An excellent, precise operation? If it is true and there are 300 syrians killed, then it was a huge mistake because in this case Israel did interfere. And just look around you and see what is going on in the region. If Assad goes down, we will probably get a Syrian Morsi for president, or even worse: the countrly will sink into chaos like Iraq.
14. Israel's Wise Men of Chelm
Economist ,   Ashdod Israel   (05.06.13)
Those who make and enforce policy in Israel long ago made it clear that they march to the tune of an Arabian piper. Israel should be hitting the "rebels". As things are going, this strike is another milestone in the path towards the subjugation of Israel to the Riyadh-based Islamic Empire. This seems to please the Left and that segment of the Haredi world that rejoices when our enemies triumph. For most of us, this is a troubling look at what's coming.
15. #13 A common characteristic
PaulD ,   Jerusalem   (05.06.13)
of those who fail to understand evil, is to remain paralyzed so a greater bogyman lurking on the horizon will be prevented. This approach is what brought Arafat to power. Israelis are the only ones left that see, smell, and know the taste of evil, because all the evil in the world is focused on eliminating them. The correct approach is to destroy it, if worse evil sprouts up in its place, destroy that as well. That is the unfortunate reality of this degenerate world, and why all the deranged forces of Jihad and their Leftist buddies will die to weaken Israel, in every way possible. And, shouldn't you be more concerned about the fascist Jobbik party, then the dirty work Israel is doing for the inept world.
16. Bombing troops was a huge mistake
George ,   Athens, Greece   (05.06.13)
As a dear friend of Israel, I have to say that bombing missile loads and chemical wearons facilities is one thing and bombing unsuspecting soldiers -without a declaration of war- is totally a different thing. By killing hundreds of Assad' elite troops, what has Israel gained? They just weakened the secular side in the civil war and strengthened the islamofascist al-Qaeda affiliates. Is it what the IDF's top echelons really want? syrian rebels just loathe Israel and if they finally beat Assad, then the Golan Heights and Northern Israel will be their next target. It is more than obvious. Israel should avoid any further actions detrimental to the Assad camp, who after all poses no threat to Israel and must reobtain its initial neutral stance. I thought Bibi was more clever, but he unjustifiably plays Hussein Obama's game in the area, without any real profit for Israel and the West.
17. There will be no retaliation from Syri or Lebanon
Israeli ,   Haifa   (05.06.13)
They are terrified of Israel. All the media bluster is just that: bluster. They won't attack. Assad is terrified. He knows he'd be toast in 24 hours. Lebanon does not want another 2006.
18. I do feel pain and sorrow for the dead cow.
Sad ,   Israel   (05.06.13)

If the Syrian wants their country to be destroyed, let them to retaliate. Israel will kick their asses
20. @2 Inferiority complex
sipahi ,   Istanbul   (05.06.13)
is the exact diagnosis for your case. Last time I checked, Fordow was in Iran, also Natanz, Busheshr, etc... And I don't see any strike on them in the news. Only an attack by IDF on virtually defenseless Syria. Also, wasn't Hizbullah in Southern Lebanon? Already armed with high accurate missiles? Why did IDF not dare to attack Hezbollah in Lebanon? Final question: Do you really believe that such strikes can really hinder transferring missiles and weapons to Hezbollah?
21. Report: Strike killed elite troops, hit chemical facility
George Weiss ,   Teaneck, USA   (05.06.13)
And meanwhile our great President dwiddles his thumbs and does nothing. If he continues, he will be known as the do nothing President.
22. THAT was also the test case for Iran !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (05.06.13)
If Irans nuke plants will be attacked, there will be DEFINITELY ***NO*** Syrian retaliation ! Are you already sweating in your rags...Mr. mad mullah Khamenei ????????????
23. JEWS SAVE THE WORLD AGAIN!!!

Some people talk and give 'red lines' Israel removes the lines, ammo and soldiers. Excellent!!!
24. Repent now Moslem Heathens...
John Hagee ,   Austin, TX   (05.06.13)
Before its too late or prepare to face the Might of the Lion of Judah. O the end is nigh, praise the Lord. Evangelists for Israel!!
25. #15 but not by killing 300 Syrian soldiers
Gabor ,   Budapest, Hungary   (05.06.13)
I agree totally with #16: destroy the missiles, but do not kill 300 Syrian soldiers because you weaken the regime. We all know that if the Assad goes down, the situation will be worse for Israel. So it is very misleading to lay back because of the military superiority Israel has. The world has changed, it is not 67 or 73 and Israel is not fighting conventional wars any more. So it doesn't matter what kind of airforce you have or how many tanks. By killing 300 Syrian soldiers, Israel intervened in the Syrian conflict. Huge mistake. And thanks for your thoughts, I am concerned about the fascist Jobbik party but Israel is my homeland, even though I don't live there.
26. Sore puss No.20
Ram ,   London   (05.06.13)
The point you are missing is that Israel will act as soon as it sees a danger. It saw it in the form of game changing arms being shipped to Hezballah and acted. Syria is not defenceless. It is well armed but knows that it cannot stand up to Israeli power. Israel has made it clear that Iran will not be allowed to obtain the A bomb. The international community is being allowed to take the necessary action to stop it from doing so. Israel is aware that the West hasn't done much to achieve this. It also knows that Iran will react in a different manner to Syria, engaging its proxys Hezballah, Hamas and Syria should there be a confrontation with Israel. None of the dangers will convince Israel to refrain from attacking Iran BEFORE it obtains the bomb. That is because any consequence will be better than remaining a sitting duck.
27. NO CONDEMNATION??
YONATAN ,   USA   (05.06.13)
It amazes me how little if no workd condemnation for at Israel this time. Can it be that it's because Israel is having to do what the world has failed to do and eliminate the potential threat of weapons getting into terrorist hands?? This is an example how inefective the western world is to deal with regimes like Asad's in Syria. They are still doing nothing about the threat of Iran and North Korea.
28. #16, Assad poses NO threat to Israel ???!!!!
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (05.06.13)
Are you living in a different kind of reality...??? Assad has assembled in Syria and in Lebanon, the MOST DANGEROUS assortment of missiles directed at the heart of the Jewish state ever !!!!!! That guy is Israels MORTAL enemy...and you pretend, to be a friend of Israel...?!
29. us+israel = kick ass
viva israel/us unity   (05.06.13)
It doesn't matter ... Israel will deal with it.... So long as we have the us holding our back... US is the key.
30. Damascus - Isaiah 17:1
USA   (05.06.13)
"An oracle concerning Damascus. Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins." Things don't look good for Syria. The Bible has never been wrong.
