1. Israel might have strengthend both sides
Edithann ,   USA   (05.06.13)
to make Israel their common enemy...Israel is out to get Iran and keep the Golan..and neither objective will be realized... It's not rocket science.. I think Israel has no talent for government..They've made a mess out of the little piece of land gifted them by the UN..They should all play to their strengths..and be shop keepers... TATA TATA
2. Syrian opposition....
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (05.06.13)
Again and again and again… the Alawi-Baath gang of al-Assad or the opposition are and will stay always enemies of the Jewish, Zionist but… democratic State of Israel. Don't dream or don't follow the sirens songs of Obama, the EU,… Be and stay always strong and ready with our modern army, our well-trained soldiers and our responsible citizens.
3. Israel should have declared no-flyzone
Alon ,   TA   (05.06.13)
In a world where Israel stands for ultimate justice and in which it is the expression of the consciousness of humanity, in that world the Jewish State would have from the begining prevented the assad forces from committing war crimes and genocide by declaring a unilateral no flying zone by the vey capable and unmatched Israeli Air Force. Had we not eroded our sense of Justice by closing the teme moun to jewish prayer and by giving a fictitious people Palestinian our homeland, this would not have happened and through Israeli leadership the West EU US and regionL countries like Turkey would h e stepped and saved lives.

...obviously non existent. Yes we Jews are good shopkeepers...and farmers and scientists and labor organizers and leftist academics and neocon pundits. We are a people and Israel is our experiment in creating a just and secure society. Sometimes we get it right, sometimes not. However we are in the middle east to stay. However there is probably a hovel in the jungles of paraguay that would welcome your nonsense.
10. # 5..Israel is still occuping the Golan...look it up!
Edithann ,   USA   (05.06.13)
They never liberated anything...they fought on the land and took it ilegally...It was supposed to be given back..but Israel never recognized international laws... Israel has always been a rogue state and that's why it's needed at the ICC..to finally straighten things out.. TATA
11. # 4..You have the same mess in Canada or hadn't you noticed?
Edithann ,   USA   (05.06.13)
Anyway, that problem is old and over..you're talking about one that's only '70 years old and still festering to the tune of millions dead and millions more displaced..Kind of stupid not to have learned from past history don't you think? Mexico is not a problem...in fact they're doing rather well lately...ever since our outsourcing to China has returned to Mexico...keep up with the news Iror, or are you still frozen in? TATA

honour and morals' Honour and morals! If Syria does respond it will lose more than that.
15. #10 Liberated
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.06.13)
For 19 years the Syrian military bombed Israeli civilians living below the Golan. Israel removed the Syrian military. Now the Golan is peaceful. There is no law that says the Golan must be returned to Syria.

19. TATA
Ilan ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (05.06.13)
hmm, shopkeeper, what a marvel idea... until of course u start crying that Jews own everything and start boycotting out of jealously. i'm really curious though, Arabs have all the oil, how come THEY don't own everything???? could it be that they have better things to do, than just stick it to Jews for the fun of it? hmm, kinda like you at a certain Israeli news website... Now when you're not being racist and make slurs ,you make some good points. Israel is occupying Golan, as it is against international law to keep land after a war, just it is against international law to deliberately attack a civilian population, while hiding behind your own population as a human shield. war is evolving, when you take advantage of rules and laws of war to ensure victory, the other side will do the exact same. or do actually expect Israel, to lie down and give up? when there is peace, and we no longer have to be afraid of being exterminated, than they get the Golan back, just like the Sinai. of course that wont happen, any time soon, now will it TATA?
20. To #11 Is that you Obama
ACortez ,   CA, USA   (05.07.13)
Mexico is doing really well? I heard Obama say the same thing a few days back. Is that why 11 million illegals are demanding citizenship? More communist propaganda.
21. morals
real vision ,   usa   (05.07.13)
Syria has proven for 60 years that it has no morals with its support for many terror groups who are now biting its ass. Israel's destroying syrian weapons was a strong point made to assad and hezbolla and iran
22. To: No. 1
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.07.13)
No, Israel didn't. What Israel DID do is teach Iran, Syria and Hezbollah a little lesson. Don't mess with us. We know what you're up to, and we can get you any time we want. We just did. Ta ta, tateleh. You have miles and miles of a climb ahead of you to achieve the level of the lowest Jew on the evolutionary ladder. Best get busy ... and somewhere along the way, learn proper English grammar and usage. You are an illiterate embarrassment to all Americans. Why don't you and your ilk stick to being toilet bowl cleaners and bedpan emptiers? You know -- play to your strengths. Leave the intellectual work to the Jews.
23. What's interesting
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.07.13)
The response throughout the Arab and Moslem world to Israel's attack on Syrian installations has been surprising, to say the least. Yes, of course, you'll have your die-hard Israel haters -- that is, after all, to be expected from individuals who have been indoctrinated with hatred for Israel and the Jewish people since they were old enough to walk -- but what is different is the degree of gratitude being expressed throughout the Arab and Moslem world. Which is not to say that rosy lenses are called for here, though -- Israel acted in Israel's self-interest. Nothing wrong with that. But along the way, Israel fixed a handful of problems for Syrian civilians, too. An entire brigade of Assad's butchers have been eliminated. The claims are 300 dead. Tack on an additional zero, and you'll get a closer approximation of the truth. Not just Syria's dreaded Assad loyalists, either. No shortage of Iran's Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah terrorists in the count. People who wouldn't think twice about killing innocent civilians. No great loss there. Over the past weekend, Israel sent several strong messages. These include serving notice upon Iran and Assad that Israel's red lines are real. Israel will not tolerate the transfer of weapons to Hezbollah. Israel will not tolerate Iran's interference on its northeastern border. The use of chemical and biological weapons will not be tolerated. Quite generous of Israel, really, in light of the fact that Israel is not the target for these weapons of devastation. So, yet again, Israel has pulled Europe's and, more importantly, the United States', chestnuts out of the coals. We don't expect thanks. But the fact of the matter is that while a great many people have wrung their hands and paid a great deal of lip service to the evolving tragedy in Syria, only Israel has actually done something about it. And, mirabile dictu, the Arab and Moslem world -- the ordinary people -- have expressed gratitude. That's a first. No more lock-step hatred of Israel. There are a great many out there who are thankful for Israel's actions. Call it a collateral benefit -- call it anything you like -- but Israel has served notice that even if the rest of the world sits back and watches events in Syria play out as if it were a television series, Israel will not sit idly by. Does Israel have its self-interest at heart? Oh, assuredly so. But if other people -- particularly innocent ones -- can benefit from that, where's the harm? Israel is probably the only country with a realistic appreciation of what is actually transpiring in Syria. Israel's actions were intended for consumption in Iran. I think Iran got the message. I note for the record that no one has reported civilian casualties in Israel's airstrikes. But a lot of Iranian, Lebanese and Syrian military casualties. That's a good thing. Israel ended the existence of a lot of cold-blooded murderers, and disposed of the weapons they use. Humanity wins.
