All politics. One day the smol is in the next the yamin. Just don't delude yourself that you've won anything. The arrows of the eagle never rob the eagle if its olives and vice versa.
4. #2: Couldn't agree with you more!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (05.09.13)
Maybe the "Peace Loving" Jstreeters should have a good look at the pictures of the Vogel children with their throats cut and it should be pointed out to them that Hamas and its friends on the West Bank have clearly stated that the will NEVER recognize Israel! Their hero, Abu Mazen, the man responsible for the Ma'alot School Massacre of children and teachers, as also refused to recognize Israel as the Home of the Jewish People! You can't make peace with a people who don't want peace!
5. How pathetic to capitulate to "Joke"
DT ,   TA Israel   (05.09.13)
Street. So now you give credibility to a world saturated with absurd organizations like Joke Street. At least they will feel at home with Peres.
6. Pro Israel? Okay, if you say so.
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (05.09.13)
If their 'pro Israel' prove it.
7. Don't Talk to Traitors
Bill ,   Minneapolis, USA   (05.09.13)
JStreet is a wolf in sheep's clothing, they are only interested in pandering to the Arabs.
8. It is another Sad day.....
dr harry ,   Jerusalem, Isreal   (05.09.13)
for the State of Israel. This defeatist attitude will just quicken the State os Israel's demise. Just like the obvious of excepting Google crowning Palestine as a State. The answer, DISCONNECT from our enemies. IN GOD WE TRUST. Oh! I forgot, we say that in America. The State of Israel believes in themselves.
9. Traitors
Bill Stein ,   USA   (05.09.13)
These guys are Soros and US Government funded traitors in my opinion.
10. J Street are evil Soros funded enemies.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.09.13)
It is despicable of the Israeli government to capitulate to J Street. J Street are evil Soros funded enemies of Israel. Bibi has absolutely no ability to stand up for Israel. He is a pathetic excuse for a P.M.
11. LIBERAL JEWS......
(05.09.13)
are like a bone stuck in your thorat-can't caugh it out ,nor can you swallow......
12. J Street more pro-Israel than Bibi
Andy ,   Boston, USA   (05.09.13)
J St is more pro-Israel, more pro peace than Bibi, who has no real agenda other than stalling for time to make sure peace will never happen.
13. J Street's positions need to be heard
Mark Wiseman ,   Cleveland USA   (05.09.13)
The time has come to hear from moderates and those who believe in a future where disputes can be resolved through negotiation. Those who are willing to give up control of land, in exchange for peace have a legitimate position, regardless of what the other side says. If idealism and religious fervor prevent the option of a Palestinian state from ever being seriously considered, than we have changed from an enlightened democracy to something less. That slide needs to be reversed before the would be "messiahs" start to dictate our moves to us.
14. From the Liberal Left
Ron ,   oc us   (05.09.13)
Take them for what they are. Well funded by George Soros and very vocal. They represent the very few.
15. Uninformed
Hannah ,   NYC. USA   (05.09.13)
Anyone who considers JStreet "moderate", really knows way too little about the situation in the middle east to have an informed opinion.
16. From fierce to feckless in less than a week
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (05.09.13)
Hardly a week ago, Israel was quietly doing what had to be done by acting against the growing threats from Syria. As Teddy Roosevelt would have it, Israel was "talking softly" but utilizing a "big stick". And what happened only days later? Israel is now reportedly negotiating to cooperate once again with the Israel-hating UN Human Rights Council. It's quietly implementing a construction freeze over the "Green Line". It's responding positively to the Arab (No)Peace Plan, with Livni engaging with Kerry. And now it's legitimizing a "Jewish" group that insists it "knows better" what's in Israel's best interests, even questioning how it responds to attacks. And who knows what debasement of Israel's honor will result from the pending talks with Turkey. Is all this just to keep on Obama's good side? I fear this will not end well.
17. J Street can make a favour
Anshel ,   Canada   (05.09.13)
There is only one honourable thing the JStreet as an organization could do, commit harakiri. It the silliest thing I ever heard that a group has to be moderate. There is no such thing moderate Jews. There are only arrogant self righteous, bent on their misguided agenda that at the end would harm Israel. They don't care, they live in comfort in USA, close to the White House.

The real question is for who is Netanyahu working. Netanyahu fiercely attacked Syria under Obama's instructions to protect American interests. Now, Netanyahu is bowing to J-street under Obama's order, just like he bowed to Erdogan.
19. sad for israel
ma nishma ,   modiin   (05.09.13)
It is a sad day for us in Israel when the government must recognize an anti-Zionist and anti religious organization such as Jstreet. When Jews turn against Jewish values and insist that we jews view life as gentiles it is a sad day. It is so much worse when the government bows to these falsifiers of Jewish spirit and life, knowing full well that they have sided with our enemies. Sad, sad, sad.
20. This is excellent news
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.09.13)
I am delighted and will be opening that bottle of Manischewitz I have been saving for a special occassion.
21. J Street is a George Soros front
sidney ,   USA   (05.09.13)
Has Soros ever given a nickel to an Israeli charity? He has given millions to the anti-Semites in eastern Europe.
22. #12 &13
Joe Malanti Seymour ,   Most Proud Israeli   (05.09.13)
What about you and the rest of the Jstreet crowd coming to live here and send your children off to serve in the Army? Only then can you speak for me and Israel.
23. It's actually good, that JudeoQuislings can gather under one
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.09.13)
umbrella: we'll know where to find them & who they are and take our precautions.
24. To Hannah # 15
Stan ,   Israel   (05.09.13)
You of course know it all. Before you comment again take a break and read "A New Voice For Israel" by Jeremy Ben-Ami
25. a big mistake
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (05.09.13)
giving in to further pressure from obama is a big mistake.
26. To # 22 See the mail I sent to # 15
Stan ,   Israel   (05.09.13)
J Street is right! If your criteria are based on living in Israel, than my 52 years in this country including 23 years in Miluim allows me to fight for what I believe has to be done to guarantee the survival of our beloved country. PS Of course all my children served in the army.

Mark ,   Cleveland USA   (05.09.13)
When Israel can pay for it's own weapon systems, ambulances, universities and hospitals...when Israel can survive a year in the UN without us annoying every country in the world by vetoing every sanction on your behalf,..when Israel's stupid machismo doesn't endanger every Jew around the world...then you guys will be on your own. Until then, you'll have to live with us and our opinions.
28. #19 Shammai and Rashi were not enemies
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (05.10.13)
neither should we be. You know you are in the company of Jews when there are at least two answers for every question and both of them may be right. The most dangerous people in the world are those who believe that they and they alone possess "the truth" with a capital "T". This group includes Jihadists, fundamental Christians, militant atheists and, indeed, those of our own haridi whose fence around the Torah is so high that they now live in total darkness.
29. JStreet is NOT pro-Israel or pro-America
Eric L ,   Chicago, USA   (05.10.13)
JStreet is an embarrassing fringe group, period.
