3. The true cost of leftism ?
Philippe ,   Raanana   (05.11.13)
What is the tue cost of leftism ? Oslo bogus peace and 2000 israelis killed by Arafat gangs . What is the true cost of Ehud Barak hasty retreat from Lebanon ? the 2006 lousy war; 160 israelis killed, a much more dangerous hizbollah ; all this nonsense to bang your chest while saying " we brought the boys back home " . What is the true cost scratching zionist values and aping the rich nations with post-zionis/post modernism ? thousands of yordim, a struggling middle class who is alaways alone while despised by the very rich and ridiculized by the anti-zionists (haredim- arabs ). So next time you think of waste, try to dust at your door (the one on the left side of the Street )
4. Tax payers' money - Hello, Mr. Lapid, where are you ???
Debbie ,   Rehovot   (05.11.13)
5. hey wanted to join the mile-high club?
Ben David Shlomo   (05.11.13)
Installing 4 secure walls and a double bed...........
6. #1 you are not paying for it
R ,   Israel   (05.11.13)
I am. In light of the financial situation that we are in and the sacrifices we are all being asked to make, and rightly so, the PM and Sarah should make an example and not behave as if we are their personal ATM machine. Sarah can stay home now and then, she is not needed on every trip abroad.
7. It is expected.
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (05.11.13)
This story is hardly news. I would expect there to be as many of the comforts of home as possible for the Prime Minister when he is flying. He is Israel's representative and dignitary. It would hardly seem appropriate for him to arrive in need of a nap and massage. Only two things surprise me regarding this story 1. That the Prime Minister doesn't have a designated plane already fully equipped to transport him and 2. That this made the news at all
8. So El Al hasn't got lie-flat beds in 1st class?
Ben David Shlomo   (05.11.13)
9. Wake up call
(05.11.13)
If I woke up and Sarah was asleep on my arm, I would rather chew it off than wake her up!
10. I would also be overdrawn
Dan ,   Kefar Saba   (05.11.13)
I would also be overdrawn at the bank if I traveled in first class plus. Why did a non-public person need to go also? Sonia Z"L was a private person who cost the state nothing. Sara needs her rest.
11. MUST BE GREAT BREATHING IN THAT CLEAN FRESH BEIJING AIR
Esther ,   Selkirk Canada   (05.11.13)
NOTHING LIKE A FAM JAUNT ON CHINA'S INFAMOUS WALL HOW'S THE JET-BED BIBI ?? 30,000 FEET & STILL CLIMBING ?? MY LOVE TO SARAI...& ALL INCLUDING OUR BELOVED CHAUFFEUR SHABBAT SHALOM
12. BiBi...YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AWAKE FOR THOSE MEETINGS !!!
Esther ,   Selkirk Canada   (05.11.13)
ZZZZZZ - ON WITH GREAT LOVE IN MESSIAH FOR YA...& ALL ABOARD THE MIRACLE JET SHABBAT SHALOM
13. The PM office should have its own plane.
mea   (05.11.13)
14. And if....
Zaba ,   Calif.   (05.11.13)
they and their entourage had stayed in London, how much would that cost? Gotta be much more.
15. So they want to be members of the "mile high club". Nothing
Rivkah   (05.11.13)
unusual about that. They are not the first to have sex in the heavenlies on an airplane. They also need to rest. There are dangers of sleeping in chairs on airplanes since the blood pools in the feet and makes a person more likely to have a blood clot that can cause a stroke or death.
16. $5000?
Jerome ,   AKL   (05.11.13)
Helen Clark the ex prime minister of New Zealand sat next to my mother on Air New Zealand business class. She probably paid as little as my mum; $5000. The experience was nothing like the El-Al leg of the journey. El Al business class is a slight upgrade from the cattle class, Air NZ was a bedroom in a spaceship
17. Shameless Netanyahu,
Mariana ,   Jerusalem   (05.11.13)
At the expence of the tax payers? the hole in the budget that you are responsible for was not too big for you? you had to extend it? what were you thinking? we remember your last corruption that costed you the election, you and Lapid cannot hide your corruption, it runs in your blood
18. big shot
mariana ,   jerusalem   (05.11.13)
no problem, you pay for it, from your own pocket
19. Its not like Sarah is accumulating hundreds of...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.11.13)
Shoes, Imelda Marcus style? If she wants to be intimate with her husband on the plane, who are we to deny her this fantasy? After all, I am sure that we all have fantasized one day or another about having sex on a flight...
20. If he needs to be intimate with his wife on the plane, so?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (05.11.13)
21. Netanyahu Rest Chamber
Larry Aberman ,   Cape Town, South Afr   (05.11.13)
This gives new meaning to the "Mile High Club"
22. Sarah N. would find that hemlines at mid-knee are more
Rivkah   (05.11.13)
flattering to the figure than the current craze of hemlines above the knees. Wives of national leaders need to set that example since a lot of rape attacks occur when poorer women who do not have body guards try to wear high hemlines way above the knee. The Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg is Jewish and he along with the NYC Police Chief have asked women to lower their hemlines as a protection from rape attacks. Wives of leaders should set example for more modest hemlines.
23. My mistake?
marta ,   Rishon Lezion, Israe   (05.11.13)
Will you please, check this information with the one I heard on Channel 10, on 10th May??!!The cost was 450,000 dollars!!!!
24. #6 You are sooo intelligent
Eli ,   Jerusalem   (05.11.13)
You ar not paying for anything...it is the Israeli people, it did not come out of your bank account. And you werent even born here. You are a Johnny come lately to Israel so who are you to offend otthers who have different opinions than yourself and who are you to determine whether Mrs Nethanyahu can or cannot accompany her husband? You simply have no respect for anyone.
25. #15 "the blood pools in the feet"
rom ,   israel   (05.11.13)
Oh, Rivkah... Thar she blows with her usual shtuyot again. How's your blood circulation, Rivkah? Your heart is there to take care of your circulation from head to foot. Or perhaps you don't have a heart. You sure don't have a head.
26. TO Sarah B., U.S.A./Israel at No. 19, and so on, a.s.o,, ...
SJOERD VAN DER VELDE ,   OUR PLANET OF EARTH   (05.11.13)
Dear young lady, that was/is interesting/correct community/society solution/advise from an expert/professional or/in that world/field. Avoid making ultimately war, to do that for the present/for the time being, until something else has to be done for/by us and the rest of mankind...
27. Bibi tours
Dennis ,   Nj USA   (05.11.13)
Two things come to mind reading this article: 1. Now I know what my Israel Bonds pay for. 2. How would Ben Gurion have travelled if he would be alive and in office presently... I know times change and security assessments change, but .......it seems like Israeli leaders regard themselves as Kings of Israel when they travel.. Not only Bibi, by the way, who I think represents Israel abroad...
28. According to this ynet report..
Jgad   (05.11.13)
It seems the jewish state of Israel have more room space and walls for politicians liers than for honest voices
29. #19 Sarah B
Sasha B   (05.11.13)
PUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a horrible thought!
30. #25 If you had checked before writing
Shalom ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (05.11.13)
you would have found that Rivkah merely recorded well-attested medical facts. A woman died not long ago because she used a sleeping tablet on a night flight and slept in at an awkward angle; maybe even Ynet reported it. If you ignore Rivkah's warning and die on a flight, your rude answer to her will be to blame.
