31. Ben Jabo, please explain
(05.14.13)
Please explain, if you can, why Jerusalem is not mentionned once in your Torah?
32. To Chaim, N 3
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (05.14.13)
Dear brother, Jerusalem will ever be the eternal capital of Israel. No doubts about it. But some parts, with Arab majority, may be autonomous. Autonomy doesn't mean independence. Israel, of course, must administer the Security (Zechariah, post N 8). Don't you think it will be fair?
33. Shoa anyone?
DD ,   London, UK   (05.14.13)
The '67 lines aren't called the Auschwitz lines for nothing... Yes, Netanyahu the CIA man (Wikileaks) will bring Israel down unless he's stopped.
34. #31
DavidR ,   USA   (05.14.13)
The word "Torah" means "Instruction." The entire Tanach contain the "instructions" of Hashem to the people of the world. All the Prophets from Joshua forward speak of Yerushalayim. Also, it is indirectly referred to in the Torah as you define it as the "Place where Hashem will place His Name forever. That would be Temple Mount in Yerushalayim. Har Tsion. Am Israel Chai!

BEN JABO (MACHAL) ,   ISRA EL   (05.14.13)
I asked you first, let's do things in proper order, which of which would you're being returned to your homes in Arabia & Egypt
36. #32. When Jews have autonomy over most of Mecca....
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.15.13)
Luiz, I always appreciate the wonderful spirit of your posts, though I often disagree with you. No, "Palestinians" have no right to autonomy in any part of tiny Israel. The Arabs have 600 times more land than Israel. There is no logic or truth in the "Palestinian" position, which is intended solely to justify the destruction of Israel. I will consider "Palestinian" autonomy in Jerusalem when there are millions of Jews in Mecca and they have autonomy over most of Mecca.
37. #19. Keeping Judea & Samaria a fantasy
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (05.15.13)
Start collecting money to resettle settlers within Israel's soon to be determined borders. Not a fantasy. The end-game is fast approaching.
38. # 37 Don't bet on it, pal.
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (05.15.13)
Consider Gaza your 'capitol.' Also consider we acknowledge Gaza/Hamas also as terrorists, officially. Wich comic books are you reading? End game my ass, we haven't started yet.
39. Permanent Israeli ownership of Judea/Samaria is reality.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.15.13)
Within 5 years, we will have more than a million Jews in Judea and Samaria. Within 20 years, we will have more than 2 million Jews in Judea and Samaria. By than, most "Palestinian" poseurs will be long gone. Israeli ownership of our eternal heartland of Judea and Samaria is reality. The end game is fast approaching for Fictional Palestine.
40. # 19 Israeli control NOW AND FOREVER!!!!!
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (05.15.13)
ANNEX AND BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!!
41. # 36 Good answer Chaim
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (05.15.13)
Yours usually are. Shalom.
42. False Premise
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (05.15.13)
"Israel's capital can expand only to the east or the north, as the City has run out of land reserves in its western part long ago." This is a false premise. Twenty years ago Portland, and the State of Oregon set limits beyond which no growth is allowed.. So now they build UP. And so far they have not run out of air or even topped Mount Hood. Isaac Asimov imagined city limits, too, even for cities like New York and Chicago. He wrote about that in "The Caves of Steel" and "The Naked Sun." Israeli politicians just lack imagination.
43. #1 Lynx comment
Amos   (05.15.13)
Even if we say that the Corpus Seperatum applies, you obviously haven't read the original document. The corpus seperatum proposed by the UN determines that Jerusalem would be a seperate zone from the Jewish and Arab states for a period of 10 years. After 10 years, there would be a vote (referendum) to determine wether the residents want to be part of the Jewish state or the Arab state. Now, since the majority of Jerusalemites are Jewish, let's think what the outcome would be...? a legal act of affiliating entire Jerusalem as part of Israel (and that's you whom are talking about legal and illegal here) But of course, the corpus seperatum was part of the UN 1947 proposal for partition, which wasn't adopted by both of the sides (see 1948 war for more details). This partition proposal, as all UN General Assembly resolutions, is a non-binding recommendation (see UN website for more details).
44. To No. 36
Bertram ,   London, UK   (05.15.13)
Chaim, your position dictates that you have an absolutely valid position with regard to the the right of autonomy on behalf of the Palestinians. Your view that the West Bank should be annexed by Israel, accompanied by the deportation of Palestinian Arabs, fully justifies your disagreement with Luiz. Let's face it, all those whose first language is Arabic clearly marks them out as one people, whose home must therefore be - Arabia. Just in the same way, all those whose first language is English (Americans, Australians, Jamaicans, etc.) clearly marks them out as one people, whose home must be - England.
45. #39 Why doesn't Israel agree w/you?
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (05.15.13)
UN and ICC recognition of the State of Palestine, Israeli settlment freezes and budget cuts, Bibi publicly supporting two state solution, Hatnua in charge of negotiations, Labor conferring with Abbas and promising Bibi support, U.S., U.K. and EU setting time limits... it sure looks like an end-game is in play. But it doesn't look like the annexation of Judea and Samaria is part of it. 2 million Jews in Judea and Samaria? Do you mean Palestinian Jews?
46. #44. Actually, my position is normal.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.15.13)
What is truly abnormal is for a nation to negotiate with those dedicated to it's destruction, as "Palestinians" are. What is truly abnormal is for a nation to support it's enemies, as Israel does. Can you imagine the WW II Allies shipping Nazi Germany supplied? Yet, Israel continues to shower genocidal "Palestinians" with food, materials, money, electricity. It is totally insane!
47. #41. Thank you, Build Baby Build.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.15.13)
We do our part!
48. Most Israelis oppose Two State Final Solution.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.16.13)
Polls consistently show the vast majority of Israelis oppose the evil Two State Final Solution. Israel does face danger in machination by the U.N. and Israeli leftists. But this is nothing new. The vast sane Israeli majority will prevail. There never has been a Palestine on our land and never will be one. Demographic reality means a million Jews in Judea and Samaria in 5 years and 2 million within 20. They will be all Israeli. Most "Palestinian" poseurs will be long gone.
49. Netanyahu is a typical politician and nothing else!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (05.16.13)
He lies for his own benefit! God will deal with this godless traitor! Netanyahu needs to behoove and take seriously what has happened to past Israeli leaders who have tried to give away God's land. Just to name a few: Rabin was assinated; Sharon lies in a coma; Olmert left office disgraced. ALL Israeli land belongs to the Jews--period! So, if Netanyahu continues, I sense a great fall for him!
50. To No. 47
Bertram ,   London, UK   (05.16.13)
You are certainly doing your part .... to destroy Israel.
51. #48 Making up "facts" yet again Chaim?
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (05.16.13)
Why is it that I can never find any objective evidence for your assertions Chaim? Every independent poll that I know of or can find on the internet shows that a majority of Israelis are not opposed a two state solution, most are willing to give up the settlements and we are evenly divided on the status of Jerusalem. The recent election itself confirms that a majority of Israel's support a two state solution. So where do you get your facts from Chaim?
52. To No. 51
Bertram ,   London, UK   (05.16.13)
Let us help out Chaim on this. Here are examples of recent polls: Israel Hayom poll: 53.5% support for two state solution. Smith Research poll: 62% support for two state solution. S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace: 67 per cent of Israelis would support an agreement based on the 1967 borders.
53. To no.52 One THing is a two state solution an another is ..
Ari   (05.16.13)
Final Borders. Israelies dont accept 1967 borders, there is a resolution 242 from de UNSC saying Secure Borders and that, is a big difference
54. We could give the arabs the p.mm.'s
jason white ,   afula,israel   (05.16.13)
house, the president's house. the knesset and the kiryah. But they already own all those places. We need to dump bibi, the likud and peres. They should be banned from politics forever and never allowed to talk with anyone again.Throw in ayatollah yusuf and the hara-dims also. We have our worst enemies "leading" us They are leading us to our destruction. We need to build and move Jews, not haradims into Jerusalem!
55. #51. Many polls prove Israelis oppose 2 State Final Solution
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.16.13)
Balcony, the reason you can't find objective evidence that Israelis oppose the Two State Final Solution is because you don't want to find it. The polls showing Israel wants this abomination are carried out by leftists and politically motivated. Such as the fantasy Haaretz poll. Reshet B polls, Geocarographia and many other polls show pluralities and majorities of Israelis oppose the Two State Final Solution. However, the most meaningful polls of all are elections. The pro Two State Final Solution Parties are being decimated, because of Israel's opposition to their lunacy.
56. #50. Doing our part to save Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.16.13)
#50. Actually Build Baby Build and I are doing our part to protect Israel from lunatic leftist plans to turn Israel into a 9 mile wide concentration camp. We're doing our part to protect Israel form more evil Oslos. More idiotic Disengagement... More evil Israeli concessions and retreats, which are the root cause of virtually all Israel's problems.
57. What happened to Lieberman?
Ralph Haglund ,   Sweden   (05.16.13)
The leftists still hold him as a prisoner even thou they have lost all accusations against him. If Bibi had mentioned the absurd maybe Lieberman could start working again. The first thing would be to get independent from Likud of course - that damaged a lot. Then he could go on telling the truth.
58. #55 Your school doesn't teach math?
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (05.16.13)
The ONE poll you reference (A geocarographia poll commissioned by ReshetB) shows 45.4 percent against the 2SS and 40.6 in favor with a 4.2% margin of error making it a virtual tie. And, in cas you don't know this, 45.4% is not majority Chaim much less the "vast majority" that you claim. In terms of the recent election, no one who can do basic math would claim, as you do, that the results showed a majority of Israeli's against the TSS. Three of the parties now in the governing coalition openly campaigned on a Two State Solution Solution, Likud-Beytenu's platform was ambiguous (some would say "two-faced") but their previous platforms have supported a 2SS. Only Bennet's party clearly opposed it and he can easily be replaced in the government by Labor. The fact that a peace treaty based on a a 2SS would easily pass in the Knesset shows how wrong your claims are. Clearly, they don't teach math or logic in your school. do they?
59. Traitor?
Ken ,   Canada   (05.16.13)
Netanyahu is taking his marching orders from the CFR and other globalists. He will divide Jerusalem because he, and they, think that will bring peace. Blind, blind, blind. The only peace the Arabs and musl;ims seek is the destruction of Israel. How can Netanyahu not see this?
60. #55 p.s. your poll was wrong because...
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (05.17.13)
The poll you cite also predicted that the two parties openly opposed to a TSS, Jewish Home and Strenth to Israel, would win 17.5 seats and 6 seats respectively, while Lapid who supports a TSS would win only 5 seats.. The actual result was that Bennet won only 12 seats, Strength to Isael did not win ANY seats and Atid won 19 seats. Statistically, no other poll was so far off the mark and in favor of the "far right" which indicates that the sampling pool was seriously flawed. Other polls (see #51 above) show a clear majority of Israeli's support a TSS while NO poll has ever shown that a majority of Israelis oppose a TSS in principle.
