1. Does he know what people here think of her?
SheConsumedWithHate ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.19.13)
I wonder if he really knew what people think of her here he would continue, she has blackened our name around the world and called millions of Israeli voters " Dor HaRakuv" /"The rotten Generation" because they voted for Netanyahu the public does not forget however the media would like it to go away she is probably the most hated performer in the country except for the media mavens of course "You can't turn a sows ear into a silk purse" no matter how much you try YNET.This woman is consumed with hate and you can see it despite all the smiles.

4. Wagner made "beautiful "music" too

Some people misuse their God given talents for evil it would appear Ms nini has forgotten the promises to Israel that her Yemenite ancestors so devotely clung to for thousands of years they must be turning in their graves.Talent does not always translae into "goodness" History is always the last judge of that. It would be interesting to know how many of her concert speaches were translated and misunderstood as a green light to attack Israel verbally or even phsically.
5. To all you people with hate in your hearts

Achinoam Nini is the most talented person to come out of Israul.I was fortunate enough to see her in Leeds England 23 years ago with Gil Dor.She knocked me out musically then, and continues to do so.I have lived here for 5 years. The more I know, the more I realise that we are a fragmented nation, with many different views.Anyone who uses extremists on either side to not pursue efforts for peace is himself extremist and blinkered.Just because this wonderful lady is not afraid to voice opinions that lots of us are afraid to voice, does not mean she is anti Israel or anti anything. She (and I) yearn for peace ,However we often feel that our leaders either do not actually wish to do anything other than maintain the status quo through military might, or at least are potentially harming our citizens by their action or inaction. J street is pro Israel pro peace, but feels that there are other ways to bring it about. We are supposed to be a free democratic society, but it often does not seem that way judging by various reports. For instance we do nor seem to recognize the courts who say that some settlement is illegal, ignore their decision for ages, then ask in prit"How can we make what IS illegal be legal?"Over 30 years ago in the UK a friend who had given each year to the JIA was ostracized for deciding to withold a donation that year, because he did not agree with Israel's actions in lebanon. We were told that as non Israelis our opinion didn't count....just 'give'! But having made aliyah,I find that it is frowned upon to dare have other than an extreme right wing opinion. If we feel Israel may harm itself or its people,we have the right to have our say. Also many Jews in othger places suffer even though they often have no views at all about Israel, but are made to feel that they are 'responsible' for settlements etc. Is Israel a home for the Jewish people...or just a zionist ideal for isolationist right wingers?

Achinoam recorded THERE MUST BE ANOTHER WAY for Eurovision with the lovely girl MIRA AWAD.My opinion of the song or of Eurovision is not the point. They were showing that togetherness is preferable to isolation. Also she recognised that in our longstanding conflict, many innocent people had been killed on both sides. She sand at a JOINT event to recognize this which was attended by people with similar ideals, and was viciously criticized for it.Also she was the last singing voice heard by Rabin in 1997 at the peace rally, before he was killed by an extremist Israeli. You are full of twisted hate and self righteousness,so,for your own piece(peace?) of mind reflect on what it must feel like to be a 3rd generation Arab on occupied territory, not having chosen his parents,or his place of birth, and finding himself in a situation which he had no hand in creating.
