1. Yachimovich is more concerned with the Palestinians....
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (05.12.13)
than Israelis trying to make ends meet! She is now Leader of the Opposition but it is not long ago that she was in Bibi's coalition. MK Yachimovich, where were YOU when the country was hemorrhaging money and Bibi and Steinitz were singing their own praises? There should be a Government Commission of Inquiry to investigate the mismanagement of our economy and the lies we were told before the February General Election!
2. Labor unsatisfied with tens of thousands of Oslo casualties.
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.12.13)
Labor is clearly unsatisfied with the tens of thousands of maimed and murdered Israelis due to it's Oslo Catastrophe. It wants to inflict still more damage on Israel. Labor would not be so quick to further endanger Israel if it was forced to compensate tens of thousands of Israeli victims of Oslo for their incalculable losses due to Labor's criminal negligence.
3. Sheli said this, Sheli said that......
Nora Tel Aviv   (05.13.13)
but what Mahmoud has said to her ?
4. If Peace Camp makes peace withHareidim...
Aaron Kuperman ,   Baltimore, MD   (05.13.13)
If the Peace Camp, which has stayed quiet on the recent rounds of Hareidi-bashing, can support the idea of ending conscription (which will popular in many left wing circles) and the idea of autonomy for the Hareidi community (not state funding, just being left alone), then an alliance of left wing parties, Hareidim (most of whom hold that zionism is halachically dubious to being with), and Arabs will be close to a majority in the kenesset as opposed to recent years when the "peace camp" was not even in striking distance of getting 60 seats.
5. Palestinians will only pursue 1 state solution
ChristianPalestinian ,   Beverly Hills CA   (05.13.13)
I.e. the South Africa model
6. @4, maybe this:
marc ,   belgium   (05.13.13)
"We must avoid a civil war between the religious and the seculars in the Jewish state of Israel."
7. Never forget She voted for Hadash
The5thColumn ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.13.13)
The purposly uniformed electorate ( by the mass Israeli media) that put her in office forgot or never knew that she herself once on her then morning radical radio program admitted she once voted left of Meretz which at that ttime was only Hadash the party that then and now denies the right of Israel to exist an avowed atheist with little or nothing in common with most Israeli Jews secrets of the media to keep the electorate in the dark and ignorant of some of their worst politiicians with whom most of the media can identify with of course You can be sure this comment will never be printed by YNET
8. to # 5: I am also a Christian Palestinian and i agree with y
TUTU   (05.13.13)
I agree with you Let Israel Take it all and provide health and Education to 2.5 million Palestinians in the west Bank and Annex the west Bank then Palestinianas will be 45% of the population and then lests see if the Israelis cann call it a Jewish State!!! Send me your email...
9. She admitted to making big $ on radio
SharingWithAbbas ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.13.13)
She admitted to "doing very well" financially when asked in her long career on radio which she used daily to spew blind hate of all things Israeli and Jewish for years and which like so many others used / abused to make their way into political life on the back of the taxpayer via the exposure in the media few others have that jump start now do they Drunk with power and money and ego she can finally spew her hate for the nation always in her heart to the world as with Abbas the Holocaust denier
10. If it walks like a populist, talks like a populist...
Anon ,   Israel   (05.13.13)
11. #7 and never forget
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (05.13.13)
She was the driving force for Israel's retreat from Lebanon, a move that led to Hezbollah rule of Lebanon (as a proxy of Syria and Iran), leading to a strategic threat to Israel, and ultimately thousands of dead, including the more than 80,000 dead and 6 million refugees in Syria. Her record isn't that great.
12. She meets Abbas. What a dumb thing to do
lucifer69   (05.13.13)
13. next time they have a primary I hope Labor kick this idiot o
zionist forever   (05.13.13)
Shelly has got to be the most amateurish of all the party leaders. She has been an MK 6 years now and achieved very little She flatly refused the finance ministry on some kind of moral ground deciding better to be leader of opposition making speeches than being a senior government minister influencing policy. Now she is condemning Lapid for passing a budget she thinks is bad. Her whole election policy was just social justice & peace process never giving any details. At the election she kept rabbiting on about how she was a centrist but asting like the far left she is. Just hope next election Labor decide to replace her with somebody more competent because I would hate to think what she would do to the country if Labor won the next election.
14. Minds alike, they seek each other out...
tom ,   tel aviv   (05.13.13)
15. Wonderful 10 days in Israel!...Something to chew over
Tim ,   Brighton   (05.13.13)
This trip has given us a greater sense and perspective of whats happening now First the overwhelming Anti Hezbollah hatred in Lebanon..'If these gangsters are killing Lebanese and Syrian civilians,,who is to say they wont try to take over Lebanon completely?' Second the feeling that bad as the Syria conflict is what looms could be far worse..the shortage of power and the drying up of water sources in Syria, South Lebanon, West Bank, Gaza and Jordan. A problem that is best resolved COLLECTIVLEY and REGIONALLY whilst there is still time Third the feeling that in the region, the Peace Process, Palestinian Statehood, Israels Security, Economic Prosperity can only be realised BY INCLUDING and working OPENLY WITH Israel not against Israel And fourthly that strong regional trade links such as that in the EU, SE Asia etc which would include Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq, Saudi and Palestine can provide up to 50% growth to the region in just 10 years!
16. #5 Moslems in Christian Clothing
"ChristianMoslems" ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.13.13)
Like so many Arab Christians " you really are Moslems in Christian clothing like the Moslems you too have been brought up with racist religious views of the Jews the only difference is you like to wear mini skirts and eat ham sandwiches & continue to receive millions of dollars to your communities as "victimns" from churches in the West and you enjoy walking with your head down among the Moslems as you have been doing in the Middle East for 1,400 years if you had the courage you would convert to their "True Faith" in fact you would if they would let you continue to wear your mini skirts You have the exact hate filled racist mindset of your Moslem "brothers" who secretly hate you of course never to your face only when they are at home among their own you are considered the decendants of the Crusaders and Greeks not worthy to live here either if they could get rid of the Jews you would be next but luckily for you they never will we are here to stay and growing stronger and larger now six million plus and growing good luck with your fantasies and may you drown in your hate. May Jesus and Mary the Jews you worship forgive you .
