Third row a man is pasted against the wall, almost blending in with it.. :-) The figure on the extreme right also looks pasted in and maybe he and the one holding the infant are both from another photo. If I could see a high quality version I could be more certain and find more fakes and check the lighting issues. So yes this photo is clearly a fake.

It is very easy to verify if the the photograph was digitally altered. Every photograph taken digitally has a digital stamp, the date, time, size and the model of the camera. Once the original is altered, the digital stamp takes note. Therefore, all the photographer has to show the original shot and after that it is easy to see if the photo was Photoshopped. No need for big experts... So Mr. Hansen should be challenged to show his original digital photograph. If he can't or unwilling, we know that he is just another anti-Semite, trying to discredit Israel.

It's important to look at the reasons why civilians died. The fact that terrorists in Gaza launch missiles and mortars from populated areas does not in any way mitigate Israel's absolute and affirmative duty to protect and defend the citizens of the State of Israel. Why should Israel defer its security obligations to the despicable behavior of Hamas (and other) terrorists who operate along Israel's borders? Yes, there is a double standard and I've experienced it first hand. We Jews hold ourselves to a higher standard and it's silly and immature when our response to an argument is "it's worst there." Yes, it is and will always be and it should be taken as a justification or a way out of an accusation. It's cheap, manipulative and a total disregard to those who died whom we disregard are a 'stam' statistic.

Well, any political and military strategist with half a brain would have known that war would be inevitable after the unilateral pullout in 2005 and subsequent lock down of the Gaza strip: a place that is a concentration camp in every sense but name. Oh, one more thing to ponder: soon after the pullout the peace process stalled (again) because Israel refused to negotiate unless the Palestinians held elections. Of course Hamas won because the only other option was a corrupt organization that has continuously failed to deliver on their promises while lining their pockets with donated funds (Israel claims the same). And when Israel didn't like the election results, they shut the door again. Chutzpah. Now we face Gazan tantrums in the form of rockets. Voila.
