Israel has made it quite clear that it will not permit the transfer of game-changing weapons to any terrorist elements bent upon the destruction of the State of Israel. That would include Hezbollah. So why the fuss? Israel has said that such transfers are a no-go. Israel has acted -- three times -- on its promise. Assad is the child that you tell not to touch the stove because it's hot, but the child has to find out for him or herself. Well, Assad touched the stove -- three times -- and discovered that it is, indeed, hot. Go ahead -- do it again. Watch what happens.

Yammer, yammer. Looking forward to when Israelis finally grow spooked to the point they move to seize & hold the various weapon depots with troops. Then the game really begins in earnest. Should be rather interesting with Baathists, Sunni insurgents, Persian Guard units, and your ole pals, Hezbollah, all rolling in together to tackle Israeli troops in an honest ground fight. Interesting indeed.

Actually, we're not all that interested. Internecine Arab conflicts are kind of boring. We put giant craters where Syria and Lebanon used to be, and I suspect that the Iranians will get the message. What say ye, oh Irish one?

Hon, it's spelled "geniuses." Here is what the Online Etymology Dictionary has to say about it: "tutelary god (classical or pagan)," from Latin genius "guardian deity or spirit which watches over each person from birth; spirit, incarnation, wit, talent;" I had to look up the word "tutelary." Maybe we better think about this a little more -- or a lot more lol.
