Where are the huge demonstrations of the 'humanistic NGO's, the hysterical mob of Gutmenschen and their Arab brothers? Just wait ...if Israel will (G-d forbid) have to get involved to do the dirty work of the west....they will come!
2. Will zionists agree on their right of RETURN ? Ha ha ha !

3. Arab League worthless
USA   (05.17.13)
As usual the Arab League displays its disinterest, worthlessness and ineptitude.
4. THE RUSSIAN BEAR IS SHOWING ITS PAWS.
stude ham   (05.17.13)
note that according to this article the refugees are coming from towns and villages captured by the so-called 'rebels'. note also that Russia is putting her paws into this conflict... on assad's side... making it very difficult for the west to invade this country... like they did with their horrifically misnamed 'no-fly zone' mockery. as for assad... there is no way that he will ever accept qadafi's and Mubarak's fates. so expect a very brutal and very bloody crushing of the so-called 'rebel' side.
5. arabs and muslims
real vision ,   usa   (05.17.13)
Let them use their oil money to support these refugees and figure out how to stop the chaos and destruction. Arab league is more than useless. They want everyone else to do the dirty work and pay for it
6. USA 3

Right on. Simple and true.
7. May both sides lose
Barak ,   Toronto, CA   (05.17.13)
The U.S., NATO and Israel need to stay out of this one. Let the savages wipe themselves out. A death for either side is one more enemy of western interests eliminated. 120,000 enemy casualties and counting. Go Syria.
8. the more they fight the better for Israel
zionist forever   (05.17.13)
It shuts up the peacenicks who think we should give up the Golan just for a nobel prize. Assad is wasting the weapons once pointed at Israel on his own people and his army is splintering. Its probably going to take about $100 billion Syria doesn't have just to rebuild what they destroyed. Over a million refugees and about 80,000 dead means it will take the economy decades to get back on its feet and if they are spending their money on essential projects they won't be spending on the military Iran, Hezbollah and Russia have been backing the wrong side and when Assad is toppled eventually the new regime will have no love for any of them and it will be especially painful for Russia if they are kicked out of Tartus costing them their only naval base outside Eastern Europe. So keep up the good work boys and girls your doing a great job.

The worrying thing is when Assad goes the humanitarian in Obama is going to come out and he is going to authorise that the US spends billions on the rebuilding of Syria. In Egypt he donated hundreds of millions to make up for lost tourist revenue and write off about $1 billion in debts when Mubarak was toppled. Who knows what he has been doing in Libya while they have been murdering US ambassadors. Obama can't help himself he sees an arab / muslim state in need even if America does not have good relations with them he has to get out the Treasury check book and give them money. He is like an ATM all he does is dispense money.

israel can never afford to stay out because this disaster will spill over into our borders and into our country. the usa and europe are 5,000 miles away and this savage disaster doesn't affect them and has no affect on their security and borders.
11. Syrian refugees
amir burstein ,   United States   (05.18.13)

12. It's sad that my heart has been hardened
Mark ,   London, UK   (05.18.13)
but we are talking about people who have set themselves against the world, but expect the world to pick up the tab. I have no idea why we are talking about arming any of these people. Rwanda has shown you can murder your neighbours with kitchen knives. They sit on vast territories and wealth, but prefer to fight a war unresolved since the 7th century and pauperise themselves. Hey ho, get on with it and hang on for your beloved "winner takes all" solutions. Boycott, divestment and sanctions is the only option. Nationalise Arab assets in the west now!
