Expat ,   Adelaide   (05.19.13)
After a horrible terrorist bombing in the Ben Yehuda mall in Jerusalem, Vaclav Havel, then-president of the Czech Republic, came to show support and sat for a beer at one of the cafes there. He later co-founded the Friends of Israel Initiative, for battling the delegitimization of Israel in the world. Havel was one of the few true good friends Israel has had in Europe. Good to see that his legacy lives on.
