1. Jordan Does Not Even Deserve a " Good Morning "
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem   (05.20.13)
To Jordanian prime minister : Duh... Where were you hiding all the time when the press in Jordan was so much censored that it was almost choked and yet people like you were still hailing the " great freedom under the wise leadership of king Hussein " ? Are you aware that the printing press Jordan had used from 1970 to 2003 to publish the state-owned "Al-Ra'i " daily was my father's printing press that your late king took from us arbitrarily by force ? Anyway, you do not even deserve a " good morning " for that " press freedom " of yours that you have attained much belatedly ,and no matter what press freedom you will be enjoying in Jordan it will never ever catch up with the abundantly-liberal yet sacred press freedom under Israeli rule...
2. abdullah wants to save his throne but he praises arab spring
zionist forever   (05.21.13)
Abdullah has been making all kinds of minor reforms for image purposes so he doesn't become the next victim of the arab winter but at the same time he is saying how the arab winter did such wonderful things for the region and brought about greater press freedom. If your a Jordanian and you hear your king praising all the wonderful things that have happened as a result of people toppling their dictators is that going to encourage you to say long live King Abdullah or we want more freedom and so Abdullah will have to go?
3. Freedom of speech! Anathema in the Arab world
Mark ,   London, UK   (05.21.13)
Heaven forbid! Freedom of speech might lead to: Criticism of the government or calls for it to resign. Criticism of religion and exposure of scandalous behaviour Calls for sexual liberty Self-criticism of society Freedom of thought There is no way this will ever be allowed.
