I seem to recall he ranted about nearly a thousand civilian casualties .... which subsequently turned out to be around fifty dead terrorist combatants. No civilian casualties at all. He never apologized to the State of Israel; not once. How does he make for a "credible" negotiator? He likes to claim he is from Jerusalem. He is not. He's from Abu Dis. Close, but no cigar. So, in addition to his credibility issues with respect to Jenin, he's also a liar. Yeah, perfect "negotiations" counterpart. Not going to happen, Erekat's weeping, wailing and hand-wringing to the contrary notwithstanding. He can sell Kerry (not hard; a five year old can do that), but he cannot sell us. We know more about him than he knows about himself. Like so many other ersatz "Palestinian" terrorists, Erekat has actually come to believe his glorified and largely false resume. Hey, sort of like Obama, you know? I guess if you live the lie long enough, it becomes your truth. That is certainly the case with the ersatz "Palestinians." They've invented their whole history. I guess anything is possible. The settlements will continue to thrive and grow, and neither Kerry nor Erekat can stop that. No one can. It's time for both the United States and the ersatz "Palestinians" to deal with reality. The reality that IS, not the one they think it should be. An apology from Erekat with respect to the lies he propagated about Jenin would be a good start.

The answer is fairly obvious and never seems to change: the complete destruction of Israel, through a combination of political blackmail and distortion of anything representing truth, and constant violence. It is not just your so called politicians who are to blame for your failure to actually present any "great achievements and pride of Palestinians", it is your schools that refuse to recognize Israel on maps and in books, while espouching the great lie of "occupied palestine". That will have to end if you really want peace. Israel as the Jewish State of Israel,with no relation to the non existant "palestine" will have to be accepted and taught in your schools. Arab parents will have to change the way they educate their children, and instead of blaming every drop of their misery on "Zionist occupation", that it will be up to the future generations to indeed seek cooperation and PEACE with Israel in order to improve their own SELF INFLICTED hardship. Absolute LIES! If anything, ISRAEL is the victim of so much ARAB TERRORISM! What most people don't realize is that many Arabs get along well with Jews and even LIKE being under Israeli rule which is much better and humane for them. If you take a stroll through Rami Levi Supermarket in Gush Etzion, you will see Jews and Arabs happily food shopping together. If you observe the arabs who work in the hospital my husband is a doctor in, he observes that they are well treated and happy! In fact, so many Jews hire Arabs and have good relations with them, especially over the Green line in which millions of dollars in business goes on between arabs and Jews. Many Arabs secretly reveal to Jews how TERRIBLE their own "government" is, and it is for sure NOT DEMOCRATIC because the death penalty and beatings are given for small offences such as "selling your land to a Jew!" And note, while lots of Arabs walk around freely in Israeli areas, Jews are NOT WELCOME in Arab areas and risk being lynched to death-THEY want separation--this is apartheid towards Jews!!! There is apartheid for the palestinians, they are not Israeli citizens and thats why they are treated different to Israel. They certainly don't all live in townships. The security barrier to stop terrorists getting into Israel is known as the apartheid fence. How exactly does a fence create apartheid? Israel is compared to apartheid era South Africa but how can it be, non israeli citizens do not have all kinds of rights but all citizens have equal rights including the right to vote and get elected to the Knesset. How many black people were allowed to vote in South Africa or get elected to its parliament? That said Israel misuses the word terror and serious domestic crimes are wrongly referred to as terror. You murder somebody in Israel your a terrorist not a murderer.
