One of the principal reasons that missile attacks on Tel Aviv and Haifa are inevitable, is that the likely Israeli responses are not impressive to those who incite the attacks, the Mullahs. Iron Dome, bombing, drone attacks, artillery responses are not impressive to those who celebrate suicide bombers as martyrs. Israel needs a response that will cause the Mullahs pain. Israel should implant explosives around the Al Aksa Mosque and declare that the next Muslim attack on Israel will bring about the destruction of the Mosque. The Mullahs, then, will have the choice of issuing Fatwas against any further attacks, or, of seeing their Mosque destroyed. If they issue the Fatwas, Israel will not be attacked. If they don't issue the Fatwas, and the Mosque is destroyed, Israel will be no worse off than it is now, facing an Islamic enemy which has sworn to destroy it. And,, if the Mosque is destroyed, Israel can clear the site and commence reconstruction of the Jewish Temple.
