Did either of you actually bother reading the article?? It was quite clear - the women are embarrassed by the fact that as they live in a close-knit community whose members know each other, invariably they would know the male paramedics who are treating them. No mention was made against visiting doctors outside the community. Stop judging. I would also be embarrassed to be treated in such an intimate manner by a volunteer I knew personally, such as a friend/relative's husband etc. Kudos to these ladies who are training to be volunteers in their free time.

So they're da_ _ ed if they do and da_ _ed if they don't. Once and for all, will you people make up your minds?
