There are 2.5 million facts of life called Palestinians in West Bank. UN just recognized them and their right for the state of Palestine within the green line. Elkin should start printing Israeli passports for those Palestinians, if he sees that West Bank belongs to Israel. If so then, just as the Palestinians argue, any new settlement construction is a unilateral change to the facts on the ground which prejudices peace negotiations. Elkin is providing support for the Palestinian's demand for a settlement freeze as a precondition for restarting talks.

Since when had they lived there for "centuries"? I wasn't aware, first of all, that a man can live for centuries, nevermind that the fact they don't actually own the land. They just covet it because it was some miles next to someone who shares their ethnicity, so it obviously belongs to them. Second of all, most Palestinians immigrated from the surrounding Arab lands in late 19th century to early 20th century - the same as the Jews, so please, back off.
