Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (05.28.13)
Had he been married, this would have been a classic case of an Halachic 'aguna' or chained wife whose husband disappeared in battle. The more recent tragedy of husbands who refuse to give a 'Get' was barely known in earlier centuries. The article says they didn't know if there were nine or ten corpses, but surely the skulls do not decompose so quickly.

Tesu Solomonovici ,   Dorohoi, Romania   (06.02.13)
Folks, show him some respect and at least spell his name correctly. He was from Romania, so his name would be Leon (Nelu) Solomonovici, not Nello, not Solomonovitch. It's 2013, not "helter-skelter 1948". No wonder he got lost in translation & registration. Israelis never respect non-Hebrew names. "Nelu-Shnelu, who the f. cares? His fault his name wasn't Shlomo Golan." Shalom
