Russia has made a bad decision by providing their S300 to Syria. Everyone will want to capture that missile and it's radar so that it can be copied, spoofed or neutralized. They might remember what happened to their hi tech equipment used in Afghanistan.

Russia is blaming the EU for lifting embargo on weapons for resistance, while supplying advanced weaponry to Assad. Well, let's see. Israel has taken out a convoy carrying high-value Russian weapons en route to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel has blown up a chemical weapons facility outside Damascus. Israel has blown up a Syrian warehouse containing Russian missiles (which was guarded, I might add, by Russian soldiers). Any response? No. I'd say Russia blinked. Hell, Russia's eyes are watering! For good reason. Heavens to Murgatroyd! You've got Russians, Iranians and Hezbollah on the ground in Syria -- and Israel gets in and gets out, unseen. All anyone knows is when they hear things go boom! Sort of reminiscent of when Israel blew up Syria's nuclear ambitions a few years back. The IAF flew clear across Lebanon and Syria, and no one even knew they were there .... People underestimate Israel very much to their peril. We're not afraid of much. Then again, how is it even possible to scare people for whom Auschwitz is a very real thing? That's the mistake the Arabs have been making for decades. As have the Russians.
