31. 5 & 20 & also 26: The Bibles have a message for you
Hetero Granny ,   Israel   (05.30.13)
This is mostly for Brod by Larry you might learn something too! In the Christian New Testament at Mark 12:31 it says "Love your neighbor as yourself" In the Jewish Tanack at Leviticus 19:18 it says: "You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against your kinsfolk. Love your neighbor as yourself. I am the L-rd" and further at Leviticus 19:34: "The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as one of your citizens; you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I the LORD am your God." These passages are the Golden Rule which originates in Judaism and is carried through to Christianity in the Gospel of Mark. Since you are a Christian clearly you have no idea that in Judaism we have commentaries written by sages who assist us in interpreting and understanding the Tanack One of them was Rabbi Akiva and he wrote: "Why was only a single specimen of man created first? To teach us that he who destroys a single soul destroys a whole world and that he who saves a single soul saves a whole world; furthermore, so no race or class may claim a nobler ancestry, saying, 'Our father was born first'; and, finally, to give testimony to the greatness of the Lord, who caused the wonderful diversity of mankind to emanate from one type. And why was Adam created last of all beings? To teach him humility; for if he be overbearing, let him remember that the little fly preceded him in the order of creation." Which is all to say that the happy shining bright gay children who will be coming to TLV for their celebration are no different from you or me...they are G-d's creation and it is our responsibility as commanded by G-d to love them. You might try to get to know them before running off and criticizing so fiercely and without knowledge. I don't remember where but I do believe that somewhere in the New Testament it says "He who is without sin, He may caste the first stone." I will note that according to what is written in the New Testament Jesus never ever caste a stone...so what makes you better than your own Jesus Christ? Go pray son and figure out why your heart is filled with so much hatred.

I have responded to Hetero's #31 using the Bible and Bible alone. It will also answer your comment. I hope Ynet would put it on. The WORD of GOD is powerful like a two-edged sword that penetrates the mind, heart and soul.

"For the WORD of GOD is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12
36. Tolerance
Yakov ,   Tel Aviv   (06.01.13)
Nothing could be more Jewish, than supporting this wonderful event. My Wife & I attend every year. Nothing about this celebration challenges our faith or sours our Love of Israel. Indeed, embracing tolerance, showing support and allowing people from everywhere to celebrate (without fear) is close to most of our hearts. Using Jewish law to hurt, insult, condemn and instill fear is NOT very Jewish.
