My son was circumcised while laying in my arms, I watched carefully as the procedure was done with utmost cleanliness and precision. The baby was given a wine-dipped cloth, and he stopped crying after literally 5 seconds. Circumcision in a hospital is done 5 or 10 babies at a time, and is much more traumatizing. The babies scream for several minutes even with anesthesia, which itself is harmful to the baby and the healing process.
