Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. That which is familiar is easier to look at than that which is not. This is not a forum for praising the intact man, so I will not air my own preferences, but judging from some of your comments, I don't think you are all that familiar with donkeys.

The fellow on the left is a Jewish man. The women next to him is a woman, not Muslim, the two fellows on the right are delivery persons. Surely you can see that references delivery of blood for the Jewish Passover. As for circumcision, it may or may not be mutilation, but it is no more or less mutilating than the ear piercings of baby girls or the tattoos placed on children in many parts of the world. For those are visible marks that cannot readily be removed.

How can you tell that the man with the pitchfork is Jewish? His beard is just like those of old-fashioned fundamentalist Lutheran preachers and Amish (no mustache and basically whiskers from the jawline down). He looks more like Mullah Krekar than anyone Jewish. No anti-semitic stereotypes - he doesn't have a nose at all, no fat cigar or silk tie, no sidecurls, no kippah, no symbol around his neck, no dollar signs. I suppose if you imagine long enough and wish hard enough, you can read whatever you want into a picture. Why not just remove the chip from your shoulder? By the way, no tissue is removed when ears are pierced, and the holes grow back together if no earrings are worn. Circumcision removes tissue that can never grow back. Until the foreskin regenerates itself if nothing active is done, you can't compare ear piercing with circumcision.

Seeing this brave cartoonist stand up to the otherwise officially accepted genital mutilation of young baby boys makes me PROUD to be Norwegian. Both Jews and Muslims do this, and both should be equally ashamed. There should be laws against cutting away fresh tissue for ideological reasons, less the child chooses it him/herself at attaining the age of consent.
