How can the education minister that presides over a Jim Crow education system where there are separate schools for Jews and non-Jews be shocked at a park following the school system's lead and adopting their own Jim Crow admission policy? More than 20 years ago, while living on a Takam Kibbutz, my friends and I learned that the Kibbutz, which ran a swimming pool as a business, had separate days for Jews and Arabs. Our very liberal hosts explained that its a simple business decision, because Jews wouldn't come if they knew there were going to be Arabs at the pool. Make whatever you want out of that.

Why don't you learn to look before you leap? Or at least do a modest amount of research. You will discover that it is the Arabs in Israel who INSIST on Arab-only schools. On the other hand, any Arab child whose family wants to send him or her to a Jewish school is free to do so. There is no shortage of Arab families who do precisely that. While you're teaching yourself how to do research, why don't you check the admissions policies of Brigham Young University, Bob Jones University, Oral Roberts University and Liberty College? Jim Crow is very much alive and well in the United States. Moreover, care to address the subject of all-black colleges and universities? Grambling .... Tuskegee and over one hundred others. According to your lights, then, the United States is uncivilized -- it does, after all, tolerate segregated colleges and universities. You really are such a dolt!

What do these Jews living all around the world contribute to our society? I am a non Jew, living in Israel and I contribute much more to this society than some Jews living abroad will ever do even if I don't qualify your standards for being a citizen of Israel since I am not Jewish.

Dear Marian, we have religious schools (per religion) and secular schools. No secular school segregates anyone. Please do some fact checking before talking nonsense.
