I'm of 2 minds re:Erdegan. Unlike Syria Turkey could come up with somebody worse than Erdogan. Erdogan has supported the rebels in Syria and is wary of Iran. Is it possible Erdogan will be replaced by someone decent? Someone who is not a Islamist terrorist lover? Someone who is able to think rationally and realize Israel has much to offer. I just finished speaking to one of my friends there..he's going to Iskenderun to participate..My Facebook page is exploding with news from my friends over there about what is really happening. This is great! It will continue for awhile I believe. This is not just a protest over some trees in Taksim Meydan, it's a protest against Tayyip and his crazy politics and desire to relive the days of the Ottoman Empire combined with Islamism. The new laws on alcohol are not helping. The people have had enough. Just look at the pics of the bosphorous bridge... all those people walking from Asia to Europe warms my heart.
