NudNik69   (06.02.13)
...stop all these nutjobs on the Syrian rebel side who they have now made long-term enemies with. Rockets and suicide bombers forever for these imbeciles.
4. Ivan we should offer to rent iron dome just to rub it in

5. Let em go at it
Ian ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
Their fighting just delegitamitzes their position in the world even more. We can sit back and watch. It's gonna get a lot more desperate on both sides, but that does put israel on alert. I hope they don't figure that they have nothing to lose and strike at israel.
6. 18 rockets is nothing to hezbollah
iraj   (06.02.13)
hezbollah, apowerful guerilla army is not bothered by 18 rockets that the press gets excited about. They took on Israel with its power though held back by olmert and livni and misdirected by halutz. So 18 rockets are nothing. Qaardari should be careful with his mouth as nasrollah will blow him up if he doesnt shut the hell up.
7. Calling all Sunnis! Your imam says go and fight Assad...
Harry Wright ,   UK   (06.02.13)
...because Russia and Iran are arming him to the teeth - and along with Hezbollah, they are preparing to massacre the whole lot of you! So now it is a religious war in full swing. Islam vs Islam. Sunni vs Shiite. Total chaos in the ME. But wait! Does that mean that the time for the return of the Mahdi is already here???? And what the hell is Russia doing in that MESS??? Sunnis should obey their imam. He is on to a good thing and this is very significant in the Islamic world. All roads must lead to Syria now for the decisive Islamic battle. Strange though, that Erdogan is a bit indisposed at the moment.
8. God must be smiling on Israel and Allah isnt helping his lot
zionist forever   (06.02.13)
Assad Rebels Hezbolllah Hamas They all hate Israel but because of a war they are waging against each other Israel is doing great. The Syrian army is splintered, lots of its weapons once meant for Israel are used against Syrians and there is no money to rearm. Even better this came just as Assad was making plans to totally modernise his military land, sea and air. Hezbollah have lost about 100+ fighters so far and they have no time for a war with Israel. Hamas have been kicked out of Lebanon because they support the rebels. Iran has lost its popularity with non Assad people because they are arming Assad. Lets hope this turns into one of those cvil wars that last for decades, with any luck the palestinians will be the next ones to have a long running civil war.
9. @2 same number of rockets Hamas shot at Sderot in past month
Miron a ,   USA   (06.02.13)
Where was Iron Dome? Pantzir-S are cheaper and can be used without a stroke of Yahoo's pencil. Based on tactical estimate of IDF of 6 battery cover for Gaza perimeter, for peski 240 million dollars entire South can become livable area, again.
10. Hamas shot as many rockets at Sderot in the past month.
Miron ,   USA   (06.02.13)
Where was Iron Dome, then? Ha-ha or ho-ho... Pantzir-S is as good and more affordable. For pesky 240 million dollars ( or 7.4 billion Russian rubbles, whichever way you prefer ) we could make entire Israeli South liveable, again.
11. Rockets fired Israel/ Israeli supported rebels
lydia ,   Brisbane   (06.02.13)
It is a well known 'secret' that Israel has been arming and training Syrian rebels and knowing Hezbollah is close to giving them another hiding is surely behind these rocket attacks..
12. WOW! Such an insult!

17. I can sleep better tonight
rjh ,   tel aviv   (06.02.13)
After cleric says assads sect and Hezbollah are lower forms of infadels than Christians and Jews, I can now sleep better tonight knowing in moslems eyes and minds that we Jews are no lnger at the bottom of their popularity contest. And low and behold it takes two moslem terrorist groups to lay beneath us Jews. That has made my day and evening. ha ha ha
18. Obama, the sleeping beauty
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (06.02.13)
the real fight is starting while you chase journalists. the evil empire is raising its medusa head to help the shia terror entity win its war against the saudi enablers of terror. what to do when all sides export terror and murder and torture. open your sleepy eyes and keep it on the prize--the nuclear weapons program. once the shia terrorists get their bomb, they will proliferate. my guess is, you do not care.
19. everyone should take note
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (06.02.13)
the syrian bloodbath has taken attention away from the most pressing issue facing the west, namely iran's nuclear weapons program. the russians have admitted that they do not mind if the shia terrorists become a nuclear power. they seem certain that the shia terrorists will never pass nuclear weapons to russia's rather significant muslim minorities. russia is being very short sighted, but then the kgb never trained their members to think strategically. russia is not as strong as it thinks it is.
20. Keepyour bloody war to yourselves
Dror ,   Emeq Yizrael, Israel   (06.02.13)
Proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran is correct. If Assado on the grill is stupid enough to open a front against us then he will truly end up as Assado on the grill.
21. Feel sorry for Hezbollah
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.02.13)
Hezbollah is a real Lebanese organization which is mostly concerned with the welfare of Lebanese Shia. They went into the anti-Israel business because it helped them get lots of money (also from Sunni), Syrian support and protection from law enforcement (especially in Europe). Out of nowhere, Obama's foreign Jihadis came to Syria with a public plan to genocide Alawi, then Shia and Christians. Hezbollah had no choice but defend Shi'ite villages. Despite the fact that they are defending themselves from an unprovoked attack, suddenly they are hated for defending themselves. Ah well..,
