1. May their memory be for a blessing.
W. Turner ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
and before we go getting all political about it (on both the Israeli and Palestinian side) Let's do take the time to properly date these remains and properly bury them.
2. Tradition
Ethan Schwartz ,   Eilat   (06.02.13)
These remains must be treated with the respect of their communities traditions.
3. Israel wanted peace
Moshico ,   Jerusalem   (06.02.13)
Israel did not start the war. It was the Arabs who did not except a Jewish state so they started on Israel the Jewish state. Israel wanted peace with its Arab neighbors and if the Palestinians had excepted the Jewish state there would have been peace in the region .So if this is really a mass Palestinian grave its because of them not wanting peace. No one through them out of their homes, they chose to run away.
4. Sad remnants of war
Arnold ,   Canada   (06.02.13)
At least they were buried in the Holyland
5. Prove it..!!
Ed ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
Prove the are Arabs... Sound like another propaganda scam
6. and Hitler has left a fine mark on the Jew's lives
jerusalem   (06.02.13)
history repeating itself, Jews never learn... Hitler must be a saint compared to what he has left as his legacy. Be proud, what a fine people, God's 'chosen' people.
7. I wonder ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.02.13)
... how many mass graves of Jews one might find in Arab and Moslem countries. Jews who never went to war. I echo the comments of Moshico at Post No. 3. Israel never wanted war. Israel only ever wanted to live in peace. It was the Arabs who did not accept the presence of Jews in the ancient homeland of the Jewish people. They paid the price. As have so many Jews. Please do keep that in mind.
8. I almost forgot:in48 Arabs had no idea they were Palestinian

9. Time of war
deavman ,   Acco, Israel   (06.02.13)
In any war, bodies are buried quickly in order to avoid epidemics and other problems.Of course the Israel-haters and some of the Knesset members will try and spin this into some kind of genocide or other ridiculous claim . As stated by the fisherman, these were not killed in a slaughtering fashion but were the typical casualties of war collected for quick burial thus avoiding spreading of sickness.

Justjams ,   Jerusalem   (06.02.13)
7. Your right they didnt want war , they expected arabs to give up the land because they said so. 8. Israel was created about the same time Palestinians were. :)
11. Ah! ...all of a sudden this man remembers! BS!!!
EST ,   Miami USA   (06.02.13)
The Britis during their Mandate were brutal on Arabs too...there are records of them killing them in droves - men, women and children...PRIOR to the modern day Israel! But the Arabs won't tell you that! This 80 year old man...once these graves are discovered, remembers "clearly" all of a sudden. What a load of crap!
12. Jaffa a Palestinian town? 760,000 Fled?
Ron Jones ,   Boston, USA   (06.02.13)
It's a pretty sad day when an article sourced from Israel contains so many inaccuracies. From referring to a majority-Arab city in 1948 as somehow "Palestinian" to the inflated figure of 760,000 Arab refugees, Yedioth has obviously become a journalistic joke. Hey guys -- if you're going to write about geography and history then it would wise to study it, first.
13. #3,5,6,7,8, 10: Have some respect
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (06.02.13)
These were human beings who died, most likely because of the same kind of blind defensive-offensive lunacy revealed in your inappropriate comments.
14. To No. 7
Bertram ,   London, UK   (06.02.13)
"Israel only ever wanted to live in peace". Let's accept the truth of this, but note that conflict was inevitable. Was this a consequence of Arab anti-Semitism? Or was it, as Jabotinsky remarked, because: "The Arabs loved their country as much as the Jews did. Instinctively, they understood Zionist aspirations very well, and their decision to resist them was only natural...". I guess Vladimir would be regarded as a dangerous leftist these days. Perhaps this is a time to remember all those who were killed or died in the course of this protracted conflict rather than continually and tediously wanting to prove the rectitude of one side or the other.
15. #14:To the Usual Suspect Bertram:soon your children (if you
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.02.13)
have any) will be in a "protracted and tedious" war trying to "prove the rectitude" of their claim to the British soil , if there ever was such a thing. No, we shall not enter another pointless history lesson. If not your children then maybe your neighbor's...
16. war is hell. nothing pretty about it
Barney ,   USA   (06.02.13)
the relativity of one offence versus another is a moot point. it happens everywhere and no more than in the muslim islamists countries.
17. To No. 15
Bertram ,   London, UK   (06.02.13)
Ah, tom, that's the difference between us. I do not hold to 'blood and soil' claims to any land. I think the same goes for my children Peoples have wandered from one one part of the globe to another since the beginning of human existence. Read the history.
18. Women, children, Egyptian POWs, as long
Jim   (06.02.13)
as they are unarmed. In spite of overwhelming evidence, report from jewish journalists and military, the overwhelming majority of jews will still talk about faux " purity of arms" propaganda
19. For once I am in agreement with you as to the fact that no-
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.02.13)
thing is permanent in History and who am I to claim, that the time has not come for Islam to be the Master of Europe in the forseeable future. Your proclamation of unattachment from any "land" is the very reason for this sorry state of your continent. Talking about History, I kindly remind you, that certain Peoples are very attached to THEIR roots&History: witness the unending Balcan disputes, Polish (dormant) aspirations to the eastern (now Russian) areas, so on. That's why your "Tribe" will end in the proverbial Dustbin of History and the Jews are here& today: because we do care. You may even be Jewish, (I don't know), it matters little, sice you are so unattached to these trivial matters.

The answer to your question is NONE. Your hate has no bounds, get a life b!tch...
21. why not
swej_kcuf ,   Amman, Jordan   (06.02.13)
blame the victim as always... then we can't blame the germans for the holoHOAX which was a manufactured event , jews killing their own sick and weak to get rich quick and to steal a land for the Hebrews with no land .. not expecting much of your Hebrew kind anyway
22. 21.
Birdi in disgust. ,   Israel   (06.02.13)
You are a sick twisted excuse of a human being.
