31. Let them do it
Sidney ,   USA   (06.02.13)
And learn the rule of unexpected consequences. The Palestinians are the favorites of the politicians and the so-called intellectuals not the people of Europe. This might just increase the demand for products made beyond the green line and allow ordinary people to let their governments know what they think of their Muslim bias.
32. right on. occupied by murdering arabs. free palestine
ralph   (06.02.13)
From its Arab conquerors. Study history you jackass. Or if you prefer last conquer theory of history then its us who just kicked these murdering Arabs asses. Either theory its our land. Except of course to antisemites and if that is what u are then go to hell you barbarian.
33. To: No. 26
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.02.13)
So, in your narrow world, bringing up the truth constitutes a "cheap shot?" Being a Pole, you have every right -- no, obligation -- to be embarrassed. The behavior of the Poles toward the Jewish people is justifiably humiliating to the Poles. But you did it. Stand by your centuries-old despicable behavior, or apologize for it. Thus far, you haven't managed to do either. Shame, shame.
34. antisemitism and disqualifies them as peace brokers. eu
ralph   (06.02.13)
Opinion words are that of the enemy not honest broker.
35. Germany
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (06.02.13)
stop being slaves to muslims and grow a pair. stop listening to the communists who support the genocidal Islamic terrorist and who support the imposition of sharia in europe. you have not learned your lesson yet. whoever incites against jews pays a very heavy price.
36. Israel should stop importing from Europe
Cipora Julianna Kohn ,   Z   (06.02.13)
obviously this cannot be achieved immediately, but Israel cannot depend on the continent of jewish graveyards for anything.
37. 3 of course it is
C   (06.02.13)
38. #27 How about made in occupied Mexico?
Benji ,   US   (06.02.13)
You can put that on your products.
39. No19 ahahahahah you're so funny
(06.02.13)
Israel is nothing without the European trades
40. Easier to obsess over Israeli products
Cynthia ,   USA   (06.02.13)
Than deal with genocide in Syria and chaos in the ME. You should be thankful Jews have a place to live after what took place in Europe.
41. No real point of discussion in Germany
Uli ,   Germany   (06.02.13)
In the German public there is no interest to boycot products from Israel or the westbank settlers. The label "Made in Israel" is not a point of dicussion in the german public. There is only a "political question" from some members of the opposite "green party" to the government.
42. We should demand that the Hlocaust,
jason white ,   afula,israel   (06.02.13)
pogroms, inquistian, ghettos, forced conversions and baptisms as well a Talmud and Torah burnings and synagogues destroyed or stolen from the Jews should also be labeled "Made in the europeon sewer"! The hell with the dhimimi continent and illegal arab settlers of holy JEWISH land!
43. To: No. 41
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.02.13)
Why don't you stand up and speak your mind, then? Or is this just another example of Germans turning their heads and pretending not to see? If you don't speak out, no one will believe your plaintive bleats. We certainly heard enough "innocent protestations" from German civilians in 1945. We don't exactly believe you, unless you step up and speak out. Given Germany's history, can you blame us? If you don't do it right, it doesn't count.
44. To: No. 5

Did someone drop you on your head when you were a baby? Go get the kitchen towel and drool into that. You're making a mess on the floor.
45. #41 Thank you for the clarification
Cynthia ,   USA   (06.02.13)
This "green party" needs to realize the settlements are a reality. They're flourishing, creating products in demand throughout Europe and remain the primary employer for Palestinians. How difficult is it to accept these products are Made in Israel? They're not made in any other country, only Israel.

Stay at the beach, you've already fried most of your brain cells, it'd be better for all of us.

yesjb ,   Canada   (06.03.13)
They're not border! They're armistice lines. Your Arab buddies never wanted and still do not want borders, because they want NO Israel. Screw your head on a little more tightly, or grow a brain!
48. Germany hasn't learned it's lesson yet.
Yosi ,   Gilo-Jerusalem   (06.03.13)
Did they think that the punishment of so many of their people being kill, for their murderous ways, was the end of it? G-d will finish with them soon enough, if they don't truly turn from the evil that they are about. Sarah B's words are kind compared to what lays in store for them or all these tb's that talk their hate as if it were judges and righteous.
49. Harri #24 then we demand proper labeling too
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.03.13)

Germany learned from WWII - NEVER AGAIN. Yet Israel refuses to learn this lesson.

You know what, Israel is free to just keep that gas, even if it turns out to be such huge fields like Israel thinks it is. Thanks to that fracking-thingamajiggy-technique that is making the US self sufficient, the market is overflowing with dirt cheap gas and we could probably get an even better deal from muslim countries if we cut ties with Israel. Maybe even free. Friendship with Israel is a burden on us, specially since it's such an arrogant and ungrateful friend. We get nothing out of keeping in touch with the pariah of the world, Israel gets special access to the worlds largest (well... for now anyway) economy. We're not the ones that should be worried that relations are deteriorating.
52. Israel should annex Judea
Judea to the Jews   (06.03.13)
53. Stop buying German Products
lisa ,   israel   (06.03.13)
Stores need to stop buying Chocolate and othe products made in Germany. We don't need them. We have Elite and other great products here!
54. Militant Jews on here
Lorrette   (06.03.13)
People need to get their head out of the sand and realize what is going on. Here it is again, Israel and Israeli media using and abusing the "holocaust" as a political tool to deflect criticism. Israel should grow up and behave like a responsible country instead of ever demanding preferential treatment. To the historic claims, check out Victor Thorn on the holocaust, it's on youtube.
55. Germany
Avi   (06.03.13)
If anyone thinks that anything changed in the German mind about the Jews they are gravely mistaken…
56. some flaws
bernard ,   munich   (06.03.13)
I highly value ynet as a good online source for information about Israel since a long time (and I will do so in future). However, this article has some serious flaws. a) It seems that the BDS activity is being driven by some opposition members - not the ruling government. This opposition (social democrats, greens and ex-communists aren't Germany. b) Also, this EU ambassador doesn't speak for the whole of Europe. And really not for Germany. Maybe he is influenced by opinions from Sweden (apparently soon Swedistan), Norway, Danmark (?), England and some other anti-Israel governments. c) For me the story by Linda Gradstein is made the jucy journalistic way: mixing up quite different pieces of information from one heterogene region (yeah, Europe) with a lot of statements and concerns. The writer has no true knowledge of contemporary Europe and Germany. d) The headline itself is a mess as it doesn't really reflect what is said in the article. An assumption becomes simply a fact. That's terrible. From a journalist's point of view I would say: it's a lousy piece at all. However, it would be possible to take the underlying subject and concerns, do a good deal of true journalist research and come up with something that cannot be described as ramblings.
