Hitler also came by elections but it took many armies to depose of him. And it was a good cause wasn't it. Years ago Erdogan said that Democracy was a bus. When he reaches his destination he will get off. Once he was the driver of that bus he started slow and safe. Many people were fooled and joined his bus. as He felt confident he drove faster. Lately with the 4+4+4 education laws, the alcoholic beverage restrictions, and many more issues he was way over the speed limit he started to lose control of his bus. Soon he will hit a wall. Better he hits a wall now rather than an outside intervention as it happened in WW II. or Against Taleban in Afghanistan. Just do it yourself, depose of this despot before it is too late.

I am not advocating a military intervention. I am applauding this peoples movement. I am also saying that A Police intervention with such brutality to thousands of citizens is not acceptable. Right now what is going on is a Police coup with the support of AKP thugs with batons in their hands following the police and leading them to beat innocent people. In facebook go to Gencligini ve cocuklugunu Alsancakta gecirenler site. There are many videos of actual police brutality. AKP thigs also are in the photos. See for yourself. And with all of these happening Erdogan went public daring the people that the decision was made and the Mall wil lbe built, as well as a mosque in Taksim. Carrying gasoline to the fire. he said that these people in the streets are serving an ideology. Isn't he also serving another ideology? One that is called Islamist Sheria state? Or is he a person that has no ideology or any ideas? If this is the case a person with no ideas is not fit to lead a country, isn't it?

It is quite plain to see that Erdogan is moving ever forward towards making Turkey into a fundamentalist Islamic state. It also appears to me that you are struggling with the concept of democracy and the evidence tyranny that is coming from your dictator. It is as if you can't quite come to terms with what is hitting you between the eyes. Erdogan is staunchly aligned with the fundamentalists and he will change Turkey to the Saudi model if the people let him get away with it. He is vain to the core, has illusions of grandeur and is not very bright (look at his reasons for banning alcohol) - a terrible combination. While I have no doubt that there are other groups in Turkey, I have to wonder if they are as fundamentalist and nuts as Erdogan is. I can only hope that the 60% uneducated or under-educated don't get to push the country further backward at the expense of those who are more enlightened. Keep safe.
