Really? Do we believe this story? Do we believe and even know that arabs make up lots of stories? Do we assume that the alleged attackers were Jewish? With our enemies, we can't be too careful. Ya' know?

Imaging reading the following news article: "Jewish taxi driver attacked by French teens Paris resident picked up two teens who allegedly threatened him with knife to his neck; police looking into "nationalistic" motives; 'they were really close to slitting my throat,' victim says " Would you call these teenagers "nationalistic" or "antisemitic"?

Nos. 3 and 4 demonstrate a lot of sarcastic or skeptical hostility to Arabs. I'm no left-wing bleeding heart -- I blame the Arabs for the lack of peace -- but from over here in the fleshpots, what was reported looks like a case of young thugs attacking a middle-aged guy who's just trying hard to make a living. (He was driving a taxi at 3 a.m. -- does anyone do that because he wants to? More likely he has to.) The driver is an Arab and the thugs are believed to be Jewish. If indeed "nationalistic" motives were involved, I'm pretty ashamed. Thugs who want to fight Arabs should join an IDF combat unit where the odds are less in their favor than two young guys against one older guy. Maybe a good sergeant-major can terrorize them into behaving like civilized people.

to all the people who doubt this story or make excuses, what world do you live in where you think all people are wonderful just because they are of the Jewish persuasion they can do no wrong. There are a few right little delinquent sh*ts in this city... I know, I've taught a few.

I don't understand why cab drivers don't have a clear plastic separation barrier between themselves and the passengers as in New York, with a small window through which money can be passed.

Comparing two teens who didn't have the guts to kill somebody in response to decades of murder and terrorism with Muslim fanatics that kill dozens in suicide should be criminal.

There is no separation barrier between drivers and passengers because there is no need. Despite all the doomsday pronouncements that Israel is sinking in to the mire, personal safety here is still far better than most other Western countries and events as above fortunately are very rare.

sorry but I still wonder how the "injury" to the taxi driver's LEFT finger and arm? If the attacker was behind he driver, and the taxi was NOT a British right hand drive...then how is the injury made? The driver's door PROTECTS the left side in such a case. Something is funny/fishy about the story.

I was actually in Jerusalem yesterday and disgusted by what I saw. A group of about 8 Arab teens between the ages of 15-18 were walking in the direction if the old city telling little Jewish kids (age 10-12) who were without parents to get out of here. Eh would also provoke all the Hasidim they saw by pretending to hit them and stop at the last second. Truely dispecable that we allow the, to intimidate Jews in our country.

your same country allows intimidations on other minorities...

when they claim to be attacked by Arabs.

That's the reality Christians live with every day in Israel.
