4. If Jews feared for their lives in Arab states, why can't...
Danny ,   ISRAEL   (06.04.13)
...Arabs fear for their lives in Israel? When almost 1.000.000 Jews were expelled from the Arab states in the 1940s and the 1950s, when thousands of Israelis and Jews were massacred and butchered by Arab terrorists for 50-60 years, when Jews were massacred in Hebron in 1929 and when Jews were massacred in thousands all over the Middle East for 1400 years - the world was silent , but if one single Arab is beaten up in Jerusalem, it is public hysteria. Clearly it is double standards. Noone invited the Arabs to Israel and noone asked them to hate us and to undermine our existence on a daily basis. If the authorities are soft, Israelis will take law into their own hands - simple logic. Get rid of the Arabs, and the causes for frustration in Israel will disappear. How else can we explain that most of the violence (not all - but most of the violence and crime) and crime take place where Arabs actually live and reside? Rarely do Jews attack Jews. Arabs routinely attack Jews and other Arabs. So get rid of the Arabs, expel them, and this particular problem is definitely over.
5. Tit for Tat
Robyn ,   montreal   (06.04.13)
What goes around comes around. You can use all the euphemisms you like, but until the Arabs learn to live according to democratic principles, they will get a backlash. Yes Miki from Tampa, it is the only democracy in the ME. By the way, how many of these attacks happen all over the USA??

8. Innocence Lost
Jordan Ariel ,   USA   (06.04.13)
Neither side is perfect. I am Jewish and an American. Just because someone is an Arab does not give any Jew an excuse to resort to violence, and it should be the same the other way around. This particular Arab didnt start it. He was just there... maybe in the wrong place, but it doesnt matter. I am glad these kids were arrested. Jews were singled out for being Jews before and we can agree that was wrong... There are Arabs who love Israel as it is. The Israeli war Hero Amos Yarkoni was a Bedouin Israeli Arab and was one of the most loyal citizens of Israel there was. When we think it is okay for us to do something, just because the group known as "they" did it to us... that's when we lose.
9. Simple assault is now front page news?
Gav ,   USA   (06.04.13)
Other than painting Jews as agressors, not sure why this is front page news.

11. Happens in all countries, democracies and not
Jo   (06.04.13)
Happens on the tube in London. In Africa with tribalism amongst Africans. In France with North African migrants, in the US amongst different ethnic groups...and it has nothing to do with color.....
12. To No. 4
Bertram ,   London, UK   (06.04.13)
Could you tell this to some of the Israeli Arab citizens that I know and have met? I don't think they have got the message. Having been born and raised in Israel, and whose families have lived in Israel for countless generations, these people foolishly think they have a right to live there and be part of the society. So, Danny, you tell them how wrong-headed they are and that they must leave the country forthwith. I am sure they will see the sense of what you are saying and, if they don't, a little friendly persuasion should help. Don't let anyone label you as a nasty, reactionary racist, Danny. I know you are a real softie.

Apology of racism and hatred toward a minority Israel what have you become?
14. Did the Police ever catch the Africans
Rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota   (06.04.13)
Who attacked the girl and the 2 boys who came to aid in the south Tel Aviv Kiryat Shalom neighborhood. If i remember correctly 5 or 6 illegal Africans attempted to attack a young girl in South Tel Aviv and 2 boys came to her aid 5 or 6 Africans attacked them with bricks and chains and escaped. How come the police didn't catch them yet. When the Jewish kids attacked the Arab the police were Johnny on the spot.
15. what do you expect after yrs of Arabs attacking Jews?

What a disgusting reaction from readers. Justifying violence, shame on you.
17. Arabs vs Jews
USA   (06.05.13)
The ratio is 500:1 in the Middle East. They've got over 99% of ME land and 16% of world oil production. Israel has no oil and less than 1% of ME land. Additionally Arabs are constantly aggravating, instigating, using uncivilized tactics (terrorism). lying to distort truth and history, and using oil money for propaganda against non-Muslims. Looking at the big picture, somehow I don't feel sorry for Arabs.
18. The difference is
Racheal ,   Rehovot   (06.05.13)
In Israel, this is considered a crime and the perpetrators will have to pay the consequences. Judge a country not by what the rabble do, but by how the state responds. Are the felons celebrated or prosecuted?
19. another fishy story....
rachel ,   home now   (06.05.13)
I cannot get over the fact that more and MORE funny/fishy stories are being told to ynet etc. The taxi driver, now this "youth". If he was so beaten, and terrorised...how was he able to get up and chase (pushing him to the wall) his attackers? How were the attackers (who ran away) TO COME BACK and "beat him with a belt" etc? Very strange. Does not make sense. Either the story is true and ynet has messed up the reporting or...........?

No more no less. Doesn't it make you proud to be Jewish? Turning into everything you say you hate.
21. Yet Again another racist attack.
David Clarke ,   Liverpool, England   (06.05.13)
What a barbaric and inhumane act, everyone with a decent heart should condemn these violant acts of bigoted Racist hatred against ordinary peaceful people, citizens of Israel no less, trying to go about their daily lives. These attacks are occuring far to often and often the story is the same and not a week goes by without an incident of violent racist hatred towards ethnic minorities within Israel by Far-Right extremeists, with their cheerleaders on Ynet message boards making up pitifull and disgracefull excuses and conspiracy theories to justify and exonerate their horrendous and despicable crimes, these individuals are a disgrace to Israel, these violent Far-Right racist extremeists and their supporters do not belong in any Liberal Democracy that purports to call itself civilized and they certainly do not represent the vast majority of decent Israelis and Jews. Its up to Israeli Jews and Jews in the diaspora to condemn these attacks and eradicate this racist hate and stand up to the extremists who are determined to further drag Israels name into the gutter.
22. attacks
rm ,   Amsterdan, NL   (06.05.13)
The same people who cry out to the heavens TERRORISM whenever something (bad) happens to a Jew done by an Arab are whish-washing / belitteling the same facts when done by Jews to Arabs, because everyone knows the Arabs have it coming anyway because of their bad behaviour....That's gotta stop. An attack is an attack. If an Arab attacking a Jew is terrorism than it should go that the other way arount is terrorism too. And punished equally harsh. Than, an only than there's a form of justice.
23. #8 #13
(06.05.13)
Every single day Jews are also attacked by Arabs. Israelis in Judea and Samaria cars are stoned everyday. Often resulting in property damage and even injuries. Recently, several Jewish children were injured by these stones. My friend told me her neighbor's 6 year old daughter's nose was broken, and that she lost several teeth when rocks were thrown at their car several months ago. Last month,an elderly Jew who was beaten with a club by a group of Arabs, and was seriously injured, and this was never even reported in even 1 Israeli newspaper. My point is that this does not in anyway justify Jews attacking Arabs. But in just the last few days there have been several reports of Jews attacking Arabs in this newspaper, but never once was there any report of Arab assaults against Jews, which happen every single day. Apparently,Ynet does not care about the victims when their Jews.
24. No excuse for anyone when they assault people!
American Girl ,   USA   (06.05.13)
And the hate goes on and on! I'm sorry he was hurt! I hope the perpetrators are put in jail!
25. resident of Old City
James ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.05.13)
As someone who lives in the Jewish Quarter, I can tell you that Jews are attacked (and severally harassed) by Arabs all of the time. If a Jew dares to enter the Arab Quarter, he is quite simply putting his life at risk. While Arabs stroll through the Jewish Quarter all of the time. This is very much an isolated incident, but it will grab the headlines because it is so unique (and I wonder whether all of the facts were indeed reported). The bottom line is that if each attack of a Jew by an Arab were publicized, our daily paper would need to include several extra pages.
