91. No news of Arafat
ClaudefromFrance ,   France   (06.09.13)
We still have no news about Arafat autopsy conducted by Swiss experts. I wonder why.
92. #55 rm - correct!
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.09.13)
except it is YOU who are denying arab history while blithely declaring it bs. The arabs came with the Muslim Conquest, a few thousand years after the Jews settled there (and had sovereignty). It was named by the Romans after long-gone Philistines to deny a Jewish connection; they didn't have to deny an arab connection as there weren't any arabs. There is little arab history to that land, and certainly less than Jewish. There is also a denial of the continual presence of Jews throughout history. Your "history" is bs, not the history you deny.
93. #26 edithann
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.09.13)
There already is one man (and woman), one vote for all Israelis, arab or Jew, Christian, Muslim or Jew. But you were never one for the truth. HAHA
94. #86 on
solomon ,   bklyn   (06.09.13)
Israel is NOT preventing the arabs from building. In fact, many Israelis complain that the Israeli government is not preventing it and that the arabs are building freely. Which other of your 'facts' are not really facts?
95. To: No. 90
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.10.13)
You are an ignorant fool. R242 is nonbinding and nonenforceable. I would like nothing more than to see the sovereign State of Israel acknowledge that R242 is nonbinding and unenforceable. The "peace treaties" between Israel and Jordan and worthless. Have you been paying attention to recent pronouncements from both Egypt and Jordan? Jordan is an invented country, created out of Jewish land in order to appease a petulant baby brother of a British-created "king" of "Iraq." You need to spend less time on the balcony. The sun has addled what little you have that passes for a brain.
96. To: Solomon at No. 94
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.10.13)
The poster at No. 86 tends to pluck "facts" from his nether regions. They are thus entirely flushable! The stench is really unbearable .....
97. #95 There you go again SarahB
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (06.10.13)
I did not write that SCR242 was itself binding or enforceable but that it was binding upon Israel as a part of other agreements Israel has made (pacta sunt servanda)—regardless of what you think about those agreements. Calling me names for something I didn’t say is rather silly, like your petulant insistence that Pollard was “not eligible for federal parole because there is no federal parole.” (Have you at least stopped making “that” emphatic fallacious assertion?) Neither the British or the mandate intended Jordan to be used for a Jewish Homeland and your comments about it are similar to what our enemies say about Israel and similarly wrong. Your vulgar attempt at insult reveals your level of intelligence so please don't try to have a battle of wits with me –you're not only unarmed and uneducated, but boring too. Go back to insulting "ugly" deceased women and their grieving families. It better suits you.
98. #94 Don’t confuse metaphor or analogy
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (06.10.13)
with factual statements. That said, what right do Israelis have to complain about Palestinians building on land in the disputed territories? Israel hasn’t annexed it so it’s open land, no? Another rhetorical question, how many new Palestinian settlements have been established in Area C since Oslo And how many new Israeli settlements? Areas A and B are divided into 227 "islands," each of which is surrounded by Area C, the 60% of the “disputed territory” that is under complete Israeli control. About 200 of those “islands” are less than one square mile in size. Being surrounded by Area C means that their natural expansion, not to mention travel, commerce and the building of infrastructure between them are all subject to Israeli control. The effect has been the slow strangulation of communities and increasing concentration of Palestinians in the relatively larger "islands” of Area A. Look up the demographics for yourself and then tell me whether it’s fact or fiction. Also feel free to check the facts listed in #77 in response to claims that Palestinians don’t exist. Such claims are as offensive to Palestinians as holocaust denial is to us.
99. Nonsense
Awad ,   Brussels, Belgium   (06.10.13)
I had to scratch my eyes several times to believe what I read. No, I have no ophthalmic problems. Where do you bring this bulk of nonsense from? Ever since 1972 on, the Palestinians have accepted and recognized the reality of Israel. The Arab leaders offered every thing any wise Israeli would want for Israel. The big no comes from Israel. If the Americans were going to speak truly and sincerely, you would be surprised because they would demolish this myth you are trying to convince yourself of its foundation. But I don’t expect them to do so. Asking the Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state would take away any right for the 1,5 million Palestinians living in Israel and paves the way for another ethnic cleansing as that happened to their brothers in 1948. They will never do that. Never. The rest of your article is complete rubbish.

True and an excellent comment.
101. Beyond La La Land
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (06.10.13)
The Arabs have spent 46 years living in La La La Land. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
102. Awad , an ethnic cleansing in 1948 ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (06.11.13)
Most of those who fled did it because their "leaders" told them to do it , they would be able to return in the footsteps of the victorious arab armies . You know it did not happen , Why are millions of Syrians fleeing their country ? also because of "ethnic cleansing" ? An Arab minority lives , and mostly very well , in Israel . Do you think that ,if the arabs will become smart and recognise Israel as a Jewish state , something will change ? If Israel wanted to expell their arab inhabitants , do you think that they have to wait to be recognised as a Jewish State ? Recognised the reality of Israel ? How ? with intifada ? suicide bombers ? what about their chart ? Is this recognising Israel ?
