Islamic Israel will become part of an Islamic people hood in Eretz Yisroel because Judaism is both a Universalist and Particularist Religion Requiring A Armed Presence for Security in its ancient Homeland with a full array of Weaponry to enforce the Just Compensations for the Holocausts .

3. Reality check ...

- The non-Jewish west of the Jordan river are NOT going anywhere because they have no place to go and no wealth to move even if there was a place to go. - Israel has ONLY TWO LONG TERM OPTIONS ... - DIVIDE the land fairly. This would require Israel to remove over half million people from the land to be returned to Palestine, which is not going to happen. - SHARE the land fairly. This would require every human west of the Jordan River to be a full and equal citizen of the country. - No matter what other delusions people try to come up with, these are the ONLY TWO OPTIONS, so pick one.
4. #2 answer to your question
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.09.13)
Danny Danon is the deputy defense minister of Israel, its written in the article By the way, Danon is correct. Hamas and PLO/Fatah both say there will not be a Palestinian state with 1967 borders, they say there will be a Palestinian state in all of Israel. Danon is simply stating something that the representatives of about 95% of the Arabs say. What is your problem with that?
5. No normal person would give the Pals what they
Lawrence ,   Or Yehuda   (06.09.13)
have no rights to. The UN has no right to partition Israel and the so-called 1967 lines are all Israeli. The 1949 lines were known as cease-fire lines and not borders! The borders were as delineated in the 1920 San Remo conference which is still a binding document.
6. #3 Reality check for you.Israel controls the territory.
Sam ,   Canada   (06.09.13)
If there is no better solution Israel will keep the status quo. It doesn't have to do anything to please the Palestinians or their supporters. In fact, this looks the most likely scenario.

Dahn ,   Kefar Saba   (06.09.13)
If anyone can tell me who was president or PM of Palestinian state between 1948 - when the UK left, and 1967 - when the space was captured by Israel, I would be for a Palestinian state. Please state here who declared a state of Palestine in 1948.
9. #5, 6, 8 - more delusions
spyguy ,   Seattle   (06.09.13)
- San Remo is completely invalid and worthless. Treaties are nothing more than contract law and any decent lawyer will tell you that any contract can be ignored, especially when there is no court to enforce it. Caution: If Israel tries to litigate San Remo, it will lose. BTW - George W Bush (and every presidents before him) walked away from many treaties with no consequences. - It is 100% impossible for Israel to keep the status quo for many more years, especially as the US loses the ability to protect Israel. The reality is Israel is a miniscule nation and without the US, it is powerless. The CIA has already warned POTUS about this which is probably why Obama is trying so hard to get Israel to negotiate for real. - It really does not matter if there was any country called Palestine in 1948 because the REALITY today is there are millions of non-Jews west of the Jordan River that MUST be negotiated with. In the end, no matter what delusions Israeli have, they will eventually be forced to deal with REALITY and negotiate with the non-Jews and give them lots. IT IS TIME for Israelis to deal with REALITY instead of living in deep delusion and paranoia because the problem will only GET WORSE as time goes on.

Given the Israeli rejection of any 'just' solution to the colossal injustice it had inflicted on the Palestinian people for decades now...
13. #9 The world hasn't done anything in 65 years
Sam ,   Canada   (06.09.13)
Palestinian supporters invent scenarios to make them selves feel better. Jews for their part will just move on while Palestinians uselessly threaten this and that.
14. #12 The only 'just' solution for Palestinians is Muslim rule
Sam ,   Canada   (06.09.13)
That is why there will never be an agreement with the Palestinians. It's not happening no matter what you threaten.
15. #12 word games
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (06.09.13)
I love these word games, but tell me, what is a "just solution" that will satisfy you? Spare your breath, Article 7 of the Hamas Charter spells it out: extermination of every Jew. So you are saying that the only thing preventing peace is that we refuse to die, even though you do your best to murder us.
16. Reply to #8
bob W ,   USA   (06.09.13)
There was not Palestinian president; everything was a fallacy of Arafat (a terrorist, and death by the way), and Abbas and its cohorts were just beggars of the Arabs. The EU & USA are so stupid and navie to believe the fakestinians lies, and they will be dicieved again... Their god money will not buy souls, just beggars of Palestine, but to impose a solution to Israel will cost you even more. Yes, the commentador is right, there was no such Pa state then and now, and there is not going to be one... Your idea of trying to destroy Israel will not succeed and you will ended up being buried somewhere in Jordan. Israel is the owner of the land, and your U.N. and EU will be defeated in Armagedon. Get your tickets now before the Russians, Iranians, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihand buy them all....
17. That's why Bibi picked Livni, not Danny
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (06.09.13)
to head the up-coming peace negotiations. As the article notes, the government (read BiBi) has distanced itself fro similar statements. Giving the depth and intensity of Kerry's activities, I am reasonably certain that we can expect Bibi to make a major policy statement in support of a two state solution in the very near future. (Not that I expect it to become an actuality any time soon.)

• o  •    KKRDB • 4 days ago o − o “In Palestine as of Right and Not on Sufferance ...” “When it is asked what is meant by the development of the Jewish National Home in Palestine, it may be answered that it is not the imposition of a Jewish nationality upon the inhabitants of Palestine as a whole, but the further development of the existing Jewish community, with the assistance of Jews in other parts of the world, in order that it may become a centre in which the Jewish people as a whole may take, on grounds of religion and race, an interest and a pride. But in order that this community should have the best prospect of free development and provide a full opportunity for the Jewish people to display its capacities, it is essential that it should know that it is in Palestine as of right and not on sufferance.” Winston Churchil Britisforcolonies June 1922 Introduction Ever ask yourself why during the 30 year period - between 1917 to 1947 - thousands of Jews throughout the world woke up one morning and decided to leave theirA homes and go to Palestine? The majority did this because they heard that a future national home for the Jewish people was being established in Palestine, on the basis of the League of Nations obligation under the “Mandate for Palestine” document. The “Mandate for Palestine,” an historical League of Nations document, laid down the Jewish legal right to settle anywhere in western Palestine, between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, an entitlement unaltered in international law. The “Mandate for Palestine” was not a naive vision briefly embraced by the international community. Fifty-one member countries – the entire League of Nations – unanimously declared on July 24, 1922.
21. #3 your reality check is surreal
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (06.10.13)
You say that there are ONLY two options , one of which involves removing half a million settlers which, according to you, "is not going to happen." Which means that you think your second solution, the creation of a bi-national Israel though assimilation of the Palestinians is the only real solution. But this too is clearly "not going to happen" for the obvious reason that the Palestinians themselves neither would or should be expected to agree to it. So logically for you it follows that there is NO solution. So why bother with futile and surreal negotiations? The problem is the “all or nothing approach” reflected in your assumption that all of the settlers would have to return. But there is no reason to believe, for example, that those areas closest to the 1967 borders with the highest concentration of settlers cannot be ceded to Israel in exchange for land of equal value bordering the occupied territory and which is either sparsely populated or populated by Palestinian-Arab Israelis who will have the choice of moving or staying . (Conversely, settlers might be offered the option of permanent residency or citizenship by the Palestinians.) There are literally scores of scenarios whose feasibility depends solely on the level of commitment and good faith that each side brings to the negotiation table. The biggest hurdle facing both sides is overcoming the kind of fixed preconceptions about possible solutions that you present. In passing, and as demonstrated by the Oslo accord, the continued Israeli military occupation of certain areas of Palestine for objective security reasons is independent from the issue of borders, and like borders, is also not an “all or nothing” proposition.
22. #20 Mandate does not support Danon
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (06.10.13)
The Mandate was amended several times by the League of Nations and UNGA. The first notable amendment was the creation of what is now Jordan. The last amendment was the Partition Plan which the U.N. devised when it became clear that the competing nationalistic aspiration of Palestinian-Arabs and Palestinian-Jews could not be accommodated in a single country. Under the UN rules governing existing mandates, Security Council approval was not required for such changes–only the approval of the G.A. Although not formally implemented because of British obstructionism, intransigence and outright malfeasance, the Partition Plan modifying the Mandate is arguably as legally effective (or ineffective) as any other part of the Mandate. Britain specifically insisted upon transferring responsibility for the mandate territories back to the UN rather than to the authorities envisioned by the Partition Plan. The UNGA implicitly exercised its residual power over the mandate territory remaining after Israel declared independence by its recent recognition of Palestine’s claim to the occupied territories and elevation to non-member State status . MP Danon’s position therefore derives little support from the Mandate, nor anywhere else in international law.
23. Danny Dannon - the Real Voice of Israel
LJ ,   Maryland, USA   (06.11.13)
Highest Priase for Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon - Well Done !!! Finally someone with the guts to speak the logical truth & and stand in the gap. Destruction will come to those who seek to divide the Land - Obviously Dannon reads his Torah. So sad to see your PM Bibi saying one thing and doing another to appease the corrupt US goverment and Arab countries bent on destroying Israel. Our money's on Dannon. He'd make an excellent PM and powerful advocate for Israel.
