Hezbollah are killing the rebels and the rebels are killing Hezbollah fighters. Rebels killing Syrian soldiers and soldiers killing rebels and all sides wasting their weapons to do so. Hezbollah have expelled Hamas from Lebanon for supporting the rebels. Any post Assad regime is not going to want to have a good relationship with Hezbollah, Iran or Russia who have all been helping Assad. The only way to end the war would be if somebody pointed out that the biggest winner so far was the zionist entity. This war is an example of what the region would look like if there was no Israel which provides them with a common enemy without which they would be constantly taking out their aggression on each other.

You analysis of the development of the bloody war in Syria is accurate and crystal clear. I strongly agree with your statements. It´s clear that Israel must remain aside of this conflict, neither taking part with direct actions, nor giving logistic support to any disputing party.

Most Arabs only agree on their hatred for Israel and nothing else not even if they can see the moon or not. Having said that I prefer the rebels win because Hezbollah will not allow any change in the status quo of relations between lebanon and israel where as the rebels offer a small hope. Better a small hope for peace than no hope.

The war isn't over yet, but for now the winners and losers are: Winner is Iran, receiving two years extra to develop nukes to use against the US. Winner Putin who got revenge on Obama for lying about Libya, and proving that the US is unreliable. Losers Syrian Christians and Druze, butchered by Sunni and Shiite. Losers are Sunni states who failed to use their unlimited amounts of American weapons to save their bretheren. Arab spring coming soon. Loser US thanks to Obama. Israel is in the middle. The once popular Hezbollah is now hated even by Europe, Assad's once mighty army is in shambles and the crazy Jihadis have been driven away from the border. On the other hand, Assad has received Obama's OK to use tactical nerve gas weapons.

With some rebel factions inc AL-Q and associates, Hamas etc pledged to the destruction of Israel.They believe they can fight Israel,whilst at least the Assads kept a calm. The West is now even more hesitant about arming the rebels. Israel is doing the right thing by keeping out of this Arab slaughter and warning that any attack on Israel will receive a strong response.
