1. You have no right to speak.
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (06.10.13)
How dare you tell us how to be in our own country. You want to tell us then come and live here with rocket attacks, terrorists acts.
2. Shame on those New York Haredim
Gayle ,   Netanya, Israel   (06.10.13)
Freedom of religion?? One of the reasons these lunatics can protest as Jews is because of the existence of the State of Israel -- no thanks to them. It's high time that the haredim share the burden of defense and not hide behind the study of Torah as a reason to sap valuable resources from the State.
3. Are they frightened they will have to take in their brethren
jrebecca ,   modiin   (06.10.13)
who are trying to get out of service? That's the only thing I can think of that ties them to this issue.
4. to #1 Haredim
Ralph ,   Rishon   (06.10.13)
Are you really serious when you tell them to come and live here. I'd rather send our lunatic haredim to live there with them.
5. Harideem traitors insult IDF
Haim ,   TA   (06.10.13)
First of all its none of their bussiness they are not Israeli citizens, Secondly if the harideem in Israel dont like it, they are free to leave the country but then where else can they live above the law, never work a day in their holy lives, live off our tax money, milk the system dry without contributing a sheckel and dictate to others how to live their lives ? If it wasnt for the fine young men and women who give the best years of their lives serving their country, there wouldnt be a country and these haredi parasites wouldnt have a country to live in. If they have a problem with that i suggest they go join their brothers in NY. Bon Voyage

They don't belong in our country if they aren't willing to be part of it.

let the Pals live in the West bank (the next Generation will serve in the IDF The haredim - never. They should go back to eastern europe or US. These People are the "enemy inside" wasting the strategic ressources of their "Homeland".
10. Only 20,000 showed
Chani ,   Modiin   (06.10.13)
Still, bad enough. Notice that the signs were in English? Satmar only speak Yiddish. If they wanted to capture Israel's attention the signs should have been written in Hebrew. Clearly, they were only interested in embarrassing the State. Instead, they embarrassed themselves.
11. what gives them the right
erica ,   karmiel israel   (06.10.13)
who gave them the right to speak if they don't even live here ! all so easy from over there !
12. Israel's Cross To Bear
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville USA   (06.10.13)
It's all been said before but the the U.S. and Israel would be better off without this unproductive useless cult. I am certain that Israelis would not shed a tear if its entire Haredi population moved to New York where they could continue to wallow in poverty and medieval belief systems.
13. safer for Haredis in NYC
Nas   (06.10.13)
Theres no benefits in Israel, in USA at least they don't have to worry about condition imposed on them by Israel.

ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (06.10.13)
Halevai all Jews were as solidair as Haredim from all the world are.
16. They only do what their rabbies tell the to do,
msh ,   Haifa   (06.10.13)
and their rabbies do what Ahmadi-najad tells them to do
17. Stay home
Don ,   Israel   (06.10.13)
They have NO right to demonstrate what goes on in Artzenu Hakedosha [ארצינו הקדושה]. They should stay in the Galut / exile and not mix into our Biz here in IL. It only costs us fighting between brother -> brother.
18. Khareidim rabbis depend on dammed ignorance fm ALL followers
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   netzarim.co.il   (06.10.13)
When that dam bursts, knowledge floods in EVERYWHERE, to ALL of their followers -- and they see the writing on the wall
19. #11 Erica: Who gavethem the right?
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (06.10.13)
The answer is the Government of Israel from day one did that. and "We the people" allowed them to get away with it! and, given half a chance, they will do it again and Netanyahu cannot wait for that day.
20. This strange and dangerous cult
Sagi   (06.10.13)
brings derision upon itself, Judaism, Israel and humanity. Apart from all that, what happens in Israel in none of their business.
21. Really Crazy People
Zechariah   (06.10.13)
Before the Crusades through to the1648 Massacres in Ukraine Satmar had a case but Those 648 years have indicated the Satmar are a Crazy Deluded Sect .The Shoah closed the Argument.
22. Ban Haredim from the Kotel
Isaac G ,   Israel   (06.10.13)
Haredi rabbis wish to ban non-Orthodox Jews from having their own services at the Kotel, witness Women of the Wall. They also oppose the draft for their precious children, though our equally precious children do serve in the "Zionist IDF" and defend the Haredim against terrorists. YET, it was the "Zionist IDF" that liberated the Kotel from Jordanian occupation, and it is "Zionist IDF" soldiers who risk their lives keeping the Kotel from in our hands to this day. SOLUTION: ban Haredim who refuse army service from going to the Kotel. Simple. Now, stick that in your streimel and smoke it.
23. Really?
Shimon ,   Cincinnati, USA   (06.10.13)
Who cares what group supports inequity, and for what motive. They should be ashamed, but they aren't. To let others endanger their lives while they "pray"? Why was that ever allowed to happen? Simply put: Coalition "considerations" are no different from Mafia deals. Start doing justice! That's what the Torah instructs you to do.
24. Who paid the police?
Sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (06.10.13)
I sure hope the NYC taxpayer didn't have to pay that tab.
25. 12 This is exactly what Europe ...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (06.10.13)
thought of Jews. Now they are invaded by Arabs. This could happen to Harediless Israel too. Will it be any better? Be careful what you ask.You might get it.
26. THEY ARE NOT JEWS

28. Haredim
Steve Gure USA ,   coconut creek, fl   (06.10.13)
What an ambarasment to Judaism. They contribute nothing to the state of Israel and very litle to the USA or any other cauntry that they live in. They are becoming a real problem and have to be dealt with.
29. Jewish Americans should follow Israel's lead
Mark ,   Cleveland USA   (06.10.13)
North American Jews should start campaigns to deprogram Hasidim who are trapped in their sect and are unable to free themselves. The threat of the Rabbis is too great for most but we can probably save many people from a life of poverty and exploitation by their leaders. I'm sure the sects started out with good intentions, but have spun out of control. We should help and support those who would leave, but are fearful of the repercussions.
30. 100,000? No Way
David S   (06.10.13)
There are perhaps 130,000 Satmars in total, worldwide. There is no way 100,000 of them were in that area. 10,000 at most. I live right there. The number is made up.
