Providing equal economic opportunity and developing the infrastructure in the arabic sector will only strengthen the Israeli economy and make Israel more prosperous.

it's who they are. The Arabs want to rule Israel and know that in Israel it's the safest place for them. These Arabs are despised by the Arab world as they live in better conditions that most Arabs around the Islamic World. Having been in many times many Arabs have told me its better in Israel then anywhere else, because only Israel they can speak against the Israeli government while earning a prosperous living.

rami, you are 100% right. however, what do you think the responsibilities of israelis arabs are? so far, most of them identify with being palestinians and do everything against the state of israel be it demonstrations, killings at times, murder of jews and attacking jews as well (the settlers are not innocent either here). so, israel has a mistrust of israeli arabs because they see where their "soul happens to be in". i believe that if the arabs in israel behaved differently to israelis and the government and were represented by decent people rather than zoabi, tibi, et al, israeli societyb would have been much more open to arabs in israel and much more trusting.
5. Cry me a river.

Sephardi feel they are discriminated against. Ethiopians feel they are discriminated against. Bedouin feel they are discriminated against. Women feel they are discriminated against. The religious feel they are discriminated against. This is Israel. We discriminate equally. Get over it.

7. Arab employers complain of discrimintion #4 #5
Elsie. ,   Gush Halav.   (06.11.13)
#4 please, give me a break! don't compare Zoabi and Tibi with the average Arab-Israeli, because you will find a big diffidence between the politician and the man of the street. ,so please don't be so condescending. #5 jrebecca, you would never win the 'Poet's award' discrimination does not exist here ,its all in the head!
8. #1 is Correct
Andi ,   Israel   (06.11.13)
Its in Israel's interest and the Zionist endeavour to help its Arab community prosper. The idea that they are a 5th column is nonsense and the more they are integrated fully, the more they will appreciate life in Israel (which they do already compared to the rest of the Arab world and contribute. Modern educated Arab women now have an average of 3+/- kids unlike their Gazan counterparts. Its not all one way though. The Arab community benefits from starting to study and work 3 years earlier than Jewish citizens not being required to do national service. And its a scandal that Arabs aren't obliged to do at least civilian national service, although that is changing for the better also.
9. #8 Do not create fantasies. They will always blame Jews

and Israel. If there are 2 individuals with identical qualifications but one was in the army and received military training who would you hire? In the US an individual who served would always get preference.

israel is already there. didn't you know? we are a member of the oecd....developed nation with the 17th best economy in the world...better than the usa economy presently, with the best high tech and technology brains in the world.
11. Discrimination of Jews too!
Annie ,   Netanya   (06.13.13)
No. 5 is correct, however she forgot to mention that anyone who is over the age of 40 is also discriminated against. Try being 40 and looking for work, it is next to impossible, even with experience. Companies want to pay less and get younger workers, especially in the educated professional sectors. The Arabs should stop with their constant complaining. Is there anything that Arabs don't complain about? Discrimination, transportation (where I live IN ISRAEL also has a bus to cities twice or three times a day), wages, water, not being able to come into Israel and terrorize Jews at will, young Arab terrorists being jailed, drawings of Mohammed, movies they don't like, any publication which they don't find spreading their lies, that Jews are breathing, that they do not own the entire world, the list is endless. A Jew cannot even enter or start a business in the Arab only areas, countries, etc. So where is the real discrimination? Hypocrites.
