this story sounds almost too much like a cliché, custom-made to turn western opinion against the rebels. there aren't very many verifiable facts here. which means that it could very easily be a "false flag operation" by assad's secret police.
but no matter who committed this crime, it should serve as a warning that there are cruel and ruthless people in syria, on both sides, and outsiders should be very careful about arming either group of savages.
