During my "BASIC", Nov '72, and all through my service in the 13th Battalion, NEVER ONCE was there this kind of abusive behavior. Sure, we were pushed to limits we never knew we could overcome; sure the work was hard and challenging; sure we were "taken apart to be rebuilt" into the finest, but never EVER this kind of abuse. It must stop, because this is NOT Golani.

I don't know what it was like in the 70's, but in the 80's and 90's golani was literally a h3ll for tzeirim (young soldiers). Ever heard of shlichei hasatan? and hagdarot still exist in gdud 12. If a vatik tells you to stand outside his room in boxers and a combat vest for an hour, you have to. the idf is highly unprofessional and childish and it's amazing that israel still exists
