#31. It is ludicrous to credit the U.N. with creating Israel. Israel was created through the glorious victory of the newly formed I.D.F. over five invading Arab armies. Anyone with even a passing knowledge of Israeli history knows that. Israel owes evil "Palestinian" poseurs nothing but a one way ticket out of our land permanently.

I apologize if I did not express myself properly. In my experience, the people of Gush Halav are productive law abiding tax-paying citizens. I have no criticism of them. Like all citizens (certainly who pay taxes), the people of Gush Katif deserve Bituach Leumi, health care, education, legal protection and police protection as a right and not a privilege. Sadly, even in once normal Lebanon where people lived not much differently from us, all these rights are no longer certain.

That depends on how you define the "demilitarized zone." The Palestinians' version is the entire area known as Palestine during the British mandate period before 1948. As long as they insist on that definition, there can never be peace. Israel cannot realistically be expected to negotiate its own suicide, so the only resolution is war, which will end only if and when Israel is defeated.
